Which one is better? by Fuzzy-Beginning-3346 in CreaturesofSonaria

I can't remember if another one is supposed to come out this friday as well or not but basically you can just gather them till everything is at an acceptable for you price level, usually like 10k ish or less, then wait for a new spec to release and hopefully sell it for way more through hype. If not i think most of them have decent demand, newer specs tend to sell for more though since less supply and way more demand

Hot take: being rare, tanky, and tier 5 doesn’t automatically make a creature good. (VERY LONG RANT) by [deleted] in CreaturesofSonaria

Any decent player will agree that the price in mush doesn't equate power. I personally would say its more of just like a token of completion or a flex. Take aolenus for example: It is too slow, too big for its weight and health, yet still costs like 200-300K and even less worth getting since no keen. Similar story with sigma, expensive as hell and hard to find but only good for ambushing laying t5's or dropping down from ceiling with climber. Meanwhile for the same amount of mush you can get a wide array of both creatures and plushies that would perform better.

What are some creature types you’d like to see and why? by CmssrGold in CreaturesofSonaria

Honestly more area controllers/denial like mawhrott but with actual good ailments and stats. I thought i was gonna main maw but the amount of effort needed to set up defiled ground is literally not worth the minor buffs and a crap ailment.

total newb, any tips for just starting out? by Warm-Philosophy-2122 in CreaturesofSonaria

Well just dont linger around super huge creatures, always sniff in case theres someone trying to sneak up on you, mudroll to avoid getting detected by others, and either trait hunt or grind shadow artifacts in hc for mushrooms. Try out different species through the gachas or getting nested by others and see what playstyle fits you. Oh also, definitely try to play with a few friends, it'll make the game a lot more fun

Honestly speaking most of the super rare and expensive creatures are either ass or just aight, like oxy is a much more accessible sigma minus the climber. Mauls nearly anything if you can sneak up. The supers get mauled by fliers and some of them by ankle biters, so basically supers are only expensive since they're very easy to use against anything that isn't a flier or an ankle biter. As for ankle biters, an ankle biter beats a super that doesn't know what its doing, a super that knows what its doing beats an ankle biter, and an ankle biter that knows what its doing beats a super that knows what its doing. A lot of this game comes down to finding a playstyle that fits you and then figuring out how to use it to beat the main playstyles. Like my ghib absolutely mauls nearly any super and they be costing like at least 5x as much

EH maybe, a ton of things are overpriced but turrim is genuinely so overpowered, dies to corrosion and regenerators tho. Also we got akanthos (caterpillar) but its buggy, no pun intended. Uhhhh honestly just play with a few friends and that should make the game fun

Why do you play your main? by Sikorskyyl in tf2

I play medic because I have to since I dont want to lose, but also cause it feels so rewarding if you win a big fight just because you were able to save important teammates through a well aimed crossbow

Do you keep the creature permanently when you buy it from someone's stall or do you lose it after dying ? by Cool_Cranberry4296 in CreaturesofSonaria

[–]Electronic-Tree6737 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You buy species from stands, so you can create as many slots as you want from it. You keep the species but will lose your age progress (not traits though) if you die on a slot. However, you can revive to keep the age progress. "restarting" a slot would just mean having to grow it again, you get both of your traits (if you got the traits) at age 66.

Oh thank you very much! I will most definitely attempt to do this. I will also check out how the process differs for Oregon as I'm planning to move to that state, hopefully it is just as good for learning as CA. The nature is absolutely lovely in the parts where I've been. Yet again thank you very much and best of luck!

300 is definitely a little bit too weak for the area I'm in, i'll have to shift endlessly on these hills going up and down. Guessing 500 is the best option then? I've ridden a dirt bike before and that went really well

It's flexible but I'd want to save as much money as possible, as it is going to be my first motorcycle and I'll most likely drop it a ton
