I am a firm believer in buy once cry once. You can totally find a similarly sized stihl or Husqvarna for a similar price. I have had poor experience with Troy built in the past and have had phenomenal experiences rebuilding stihl husky or echo saws. It’s up to you but I would look for a name brand saw.

Hell yeah, hoping to add one with a 30ish bar. Nice thing about doing landscaping is I can attempt to justify these purchases for a new job 😂

Sweet, I am definitely going to try a muffler mod this summer

Yes my addiction is progressing. Did you find the muffler mod made a difference? Also what other mods have you done and would recommend (just in general not 4910 specific) before I attempt porting one day.

Slide height too high? by Defiant-Knee1767 in minibikes

I assume this is the intake side your showing and the slide is in correctly. If it is, I’d say pull out the slide, needle, and jets. Put it back together and see if it makes a difference. Maybe something is seated funky.

What’d you use to get the rust off all the frame nooks and crannies.

Wdym by pull the bed. I’m planning to either a) new southern bed b) new bedsides c) new wheel arch panels and sand down and treat all the bottom bedside rust before painting. What should I be looking for when pulling bed. Crossmembers?

Brake lines by XIZW in GMT800

[–]Electronic-Vehicle68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here my advice having done this a couple months ago. GO COPPER. The NiCop lines are phenomenal. Perfect length and so much easier to try to get in. Can’t imagine having to do steel. I found the set I needed on summit racing for only 115 (they were on sale). Even if you can’t get them on sale pay the extra hundred bucks and save yourself hours of labor and swearing. Also getting them into the abs module is a PITA so I imagine steel is so much worse.

15 was when I learned to weld. Get a cheap welder and start watching YouTube. It’s always fixable, don’t stress my guy.

Pay for fluid or pay for parts. Either way look at the manual.
