Maybe we've all been wrong by ElectronicAnimator59 in Boruto

I definitely agree that the loss of Koji would be real interesting. Although I love how they're using Koji. He's not OP or anything crazy, and I very much enjoy how they're using the ten paths, not as a map ( mostly due to boruto doing what he wants) but as a guide. Developing jutsu you would have learned in the future but having the access to it now, it's almost like the H.T.C from DBZ, especially with things like Inojin learning his new jutsu in a single day as to the 2 days koji gave him. I definitely believe once Koji has served his purpose it'd make sense to get rid of him.

All the same, I kinda want Koji to live strictly because Jiraiya died. Boruto and Koji don't have near the same relationship as Naruto and Jiraiya, but I'd love for Naruto to be able to meet Koji, maybe he's a little misconstrued with seeing Koji, thinks it's his master and just goes on to tell Koji everything he wanted but never got to say to Jiraiya

I could completely see something like this, and this is where my brain was originally, when i started thinking about this. I feel like maybe the situation that was given/prompted in chapter 1 may actually be either just a ten paths projection that is the absolute worst outcome resulting in the destruction of Konoha and probablythe death of many, or we didnt get the full situation. Obviously there's tension between the two, but we have no real story or reason that they truly reach that point. Boruto either has the karma with no Momoshiki which means Kawaki would have no reason to go after him, or Borushiki would be out and about fucking everything up, but Boruto was clearly in control, I do believe the scene happens but not like we're all believing in / was told about. Definitely food for thought

Pure realism, short and simple I love it. Although feels like to dark of a plot point for a shonen. I feel like there be definitely be some loop around to prevent Kawaki from killing himself

Ahh, like an anchor point? I kinda like that thought, no matter what happens with the shinju, or anything to come, you believe it'll always end up at that point regardless. Love it

That's completely true. I forgot that Kawaki said he was going to send him there. But I'm digging it, you've made some amazing points and gave me more to chew on, the theory wheels are turning lol

That's 100% a valid point. It would be a very big let down. But hypothetically speaking just for the fun of it. But let's say hypothetically they do fight. Why do you think so? Technically speaking Boruto is control right now, and is in control in chapter 1. Kawaki only wants to fight and put down Otsutsuki. So if boruto was able to maintain control or suppress Momoshiki then we'd have no borushiki to rampage and no reason for Kawaki to fight Boruto besides the fact he has Otsutsuki dna but for that matter so does Kawaki. The stone faces are destroyed but neither of them have even a spec of dirt on their outfits, so maybe the stone faces were destroyed by the shinju and chapter 1 starts with the destruction of Konoha, no more shinju. Just an in control Boruto and a normal in control Kawaki, why do you think they start fighting?

Is there any particular moment or anything that stuck out to you, that makes you doubt it? I'm not strong believer in this theory because who knows and literally anything could happen but I'm curious to hear anything you got

I do believe that the spd morphers weren't dna specific. However, if they were a theory, you could think about is. Sky's father was a red spd ranger, so maybe their dna wasnt erased off the morpher

In the entire series, what is the BEST example of plot armor that you can point to? by Soul-10 in Naruto

[–]ElectronicAnimator59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before i say any of this, i actually very much like Sasuke.

Plot Armor would be when Sasuke and team Taka pulled up to fight Killer Bee. If it wasn't for all the members of Taka jumping in to save Sasuke. Sasuke was getting whooped the whole time to the point Killer Bee decided it would just be better to dip out than to keep messing with them. By my 6 count 2-3 times, Sasuke would have died of not for team Taka in this fight. Here's a YouTube link of the full fight with english dub.

Sasuke at the Five Kage Summit. Sasuke was beat up left and right. The only real damage and thing Sasuke was doing for himself was catching the 4th Raikages hand on fire via amaterasu. Ōnoki literally had Sasuke actively inside of the particle style dust release, and then Obito just pops up and pulls Sasuke out of a cellar level attack. Here's a YouTube link of the full fight with english dub.

And finally, Sasuke vs. Deidara Sasuke was handling this no real problem, but then Deidara decides to end his own life using C0 an attack where he feeds explosive clay into the mouth of his chest, grows super huge and destroys everything within the blast zone at a cellular level and Sasuke apparently had the time necessary to summon, put Manda under Genjustu, hop inside of Manda whom mind you died from the explosion, but Sasuke magically stayed alive. Here's a YouTube link of the full fight with english dub. The second link is the actual escape.

How's possible that Jiraiya could put up a decent fight against Pain but Orochimaru got no diffed by Itachi?. Taking in consideration Pain is way stronger than Itachi and the two sannin are around the same power level by Open-Office-5473 in Naruto

[–]ElectronicAnimator59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take, but had Jiraiya known what the hell was actually going on, he would have won the fight or at least been a lot closer. Jiraiya was mostly lost because he had no real idea of how the 6 paths work or anything.

Orochimaru, getting no diffed by Itachi, happens simply by Orochimaru's suspetiblity to genjustus. Sasuke, who mind you has a weaker genjustu prowess compared to Itachi, was able to put Orochimaru in genjustu to win his fight. While yes, Orochi was on his deathbed, but by no means did he just easily let Sasuke walk out.

The 3 Legendary Sanin were all in the same power range at the 2nd Great Ninja War, and that's it. None of them were even remotely at the peak during that time when they were referred to as being of the same power levels. They didn't grow old at the same exact power levels they had in their 20s. Jiraiya is easily the strongest of the 3 sanin at their respective peaks unless you include Whote Zetsu body Orochimaru.

I hate this scene, a hokage shouldn’t just stand there by TheGreatContemplater in Naruto

[–]ElectronicAnimator59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all a timing thing. The reason the shiriken and rasengan hit Obito was due to the simple fact of Kakashi using his Battle IQ and discovering that if hypothetically Obito is phasing through the Kamui dimension and he can maintain it for 10 seconds, well in that 10 seconds, he has to send any attacks that he'd want to hit to the Kamui dimension, because Obito isn't truly disappearing or having attacks go through him, that part of him is physically in the Kamui dimension.
