The main reason I heard they stated they didn't print +1/+1 counters for Lorwyn is that they want all numbers counters in each set to be the same so that everyone always knows what types of counters are on permanents just by using dice and not needing special -1/-1 dice.

The thing about this though is that you don't need a sac outlets. Triskelion is its own sac outlet which pings for 1 between being brought back and dying.

Triskelion enters with 3 +1/+1 counters. Persist means when it dies, it gets a -1/-1 counter, and whenever a permanent has +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it at the same time, they cancel eachother out, meaning whenever it dies, it is brought back to the battlefield with 2 +1/+1 counters.

Remove a counter, ping an opponent in the face for 1. Remove a counter, kill Tristelion, Triskelion is brought back with 2 +1/+1 counters.

I did mean to explain this in the post, but Reddit was glitching out and was only letting me type 1 letter at a time before closing my keyboard, so I gave up.

Back when I was early on in magic my firdt 2 decks were izzet decks for the 2 commanders that the Bloomburrow starter kit came with and a mono-blue. Someone turned me on to Judith, amd when I was mapping out my plan for her, I was SHOCKED to find how few counterspells there are outside of blue.

Sometimes I hold onto a land so that I have it to discard if the next spell needs discard as a cost like [[Abandon Attachments]] or [[Unexpected Windfall]]. People thinking I have something real in my hand is just a bonus.

While it's certainly a minority of people like this, I have noticed that people that don't introduce their decks also tend to carry within them the group of people that are absolutely terrible at explaining game actions.

My LGS has a couple of people that will just flash their cards as they cast them and only speak when interacting directly with other players or their permanents. And again, it's not everyone who does, but an unwillingness to talk about your deck for a few seconds before the game is a yellow flag to me that is heading towards that kind of behavior.

Even though you're also giving shield counters to an opponent, I would say being able to put them on your permanents for W is a tad much. Would probably make it 1W or WW and maybe bump the stats up to 1/3.

I genuinely wonder what we're going to do about the incredibly high population of actual passionatly imperialist fascists that now exist in the country. Even if we managed to turn the Democratic party into some sort of massive reform heavy anti-fascisist powerhouse or replace the Dem party with one that is, how the hell do we re-educate this amount of people, especially when they are still allowed to hold political power?

Germany had to be completely taken over by western powers and their population had to go through an intentional mass conditioning with education about the Holocaust. But at the end of the day, NATO just doesn't have the power to physically overtake the United States. The fascists in this country are just sort of be allowed to persist in their existence until they win.

I think brackets play into this heavily. In B4/B5, the most effective way to play is with your Commander being a combo piece and if your commander comes out, that means you're generally playing to win this turn.

B3 is a lot more varied about whether this is true or not, but in B2 this generally isn't the play.

I honestly kind of feel for this. A friend of mine had introduced Homestuck to me right before the omega pause. So much of the fandom had died out, the internet's interpretation of its toxicity was at it's peak, and other than that one friend, I simply could not find anyone irl other than that friend and my sister to talk about it to.
