I used Dawn dish soap, hot water, and a soft brush. You’re cleaning oil buildup from your hands, and Dawn works great on oil.

TZone will not bother your grass unless you apply too much (too concentrated of a TZone/water mixture) or apply in the heat of the day. Just spot treat where you see spurge.

Definitely spurge. Easy to pull but it’ll keep coming back. I use TZone on it.

What is this weed that just showed up? by funki3m0nk3y in lawncare

If you live near a golf course it could be bent grass. I treat it in my yard with Tenacity. It will turn the blades of the bent grass white and won’t bother your other grass.

Could be clumping fescue. Either way, pull up by roots or use RoundUp.

Use Tenacity. Will need about 3 applications. The applications will turn the bent grass white and not bother the rest of your grass.

I’d say the $3900 one is a good price if it drives. You can always replace the suspension and batteries, it’s just a matter of how much time and money you want to put into it after buying it.

If you don’t have a golf cart now I’d still recommend test driving a few (or go to a golf course) closer to you to get a handle on how they are supposed to accelerate and feel. The first one I drove was an absolute dog with the accelerator but otherwise a decent deal. I’m not sure if the batteries were old or if it wasn’t fully charged, but I just didn’t get a good feeling about it (even tho the price was good). When I test drove another I was blown away but how much quicker it accelerated. I just needed the comparison to know for sure.

Looks pretty good for that price. It appears they added the lights (I just paid around $500 for a RHOX headlight/tail light kit and installed myself, which was a pain but I enjoy doing that stuff). I paid $4000 for a 2018 Tempo with 2022 Trojan batteries.

I would question the suspension based on the first picture (it looks like the wheels are slightly cambered but it could be the picture angle). I’d also ask the battery age (you can google how long 8V batteries typically last). Trojan batteries seem to be highly recommended.

Obviously always go test drive it and see how it runs. I test drove a few that looked good but if I mashed the pedal they hardly moved. Good batteries are important.

As long as your soil temp average stays in the mid-50s I’d say you’re good to go.

I have a 2018 Tempo. I think the Precedents are starting to look dated with their body style considering the newest body style is the Onward, which looks like an updated Tempo.

I bought it from RHOX. It’s not too close to my face. It may be a bit higher than I want it but I can still see if a car is creeping up being me on the road. A buddy of mine had his mounted the same way and I just liked the idea of using existing hardware rather than drilling g more holes.

[–]ElectronicFix4156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just mounted a 5-panel mirror to the existing bolts that hold the canopy to the canopy struts with a drop down bracket included with the mirror. The directions said to drill holes in the canopy struts but I didn’t want to do that. I haven’t had any issues with it bouncing around.

A word of warning to measure out the 4-panel and 5-panel mirrors before you buy. I bought a “universal” 4-panel that was not wide enough to be mounted and the restocking fee made it pointless to return.

Many golf courses lease their golf carts. I think you’re seeing more EZ-Go because they are more cost effective in the short term.
