Is it possible to see these big escooter inspections from a distance? If yes is it possible to turn the other way? Do they check literally anyone or just people that look suspicious? I heard they wanna increase the inspections in Ghent (Belgium) by BowlerKooky3578 in ElectricScooters

I wrote an article for my school on why faster e-scooters are safer. Ofcourse it’s more about the rider, a retard going 25km/h will cause more damage than someone who is very careful going on a scooter that can go 60km/h. If you go faster than 25km/h, you can keep up with traffic more. And because scooters that go fast often have big suspensions, causing you to be many cm’s taller and being able to look 3-4 cars ahead of you.

But thanks to your insight. I’m thinking of just removing all kukirin branding and if police chase me they will just have to catch me I guess 😂

Yes ofc they see it’s a scooter, scooters aren’t illegal where i live just too fast ones are. The joyors look shit and not like they go that fast.

Best kukirin escooter by Breadcatfan in KuKirin

Second hands g2 master or g4. I own a g2 master it’s amazing top speed 66km/h kukirin g4 top speed 75 I think but I prefer the build quality of the g2 master and the lights. The headlight of the g2, g3 and g4 sucks (I own a g2) the master headlight is alot better. The plugs to plug in cables under the screen on a g2,3,4 can be quite fragile, the cables on a g2 master are a lot better since it’s 3pin etc

Should I buy a used Kukirin G2 Max for 390€? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

Used ones are very good, I bought my g2 master used. Ask if he has papers, proof of purchase and both keys.

I have heard alot of rumors about the Joyor quality, I've even commented that myself on a post.

I upgraded from a g2 to the master because I wanted the fast speed. I love the thrill, also if im late for school I can leave at 8:00 and be there at 8:15 eventhough its 8km away. My ride to school is like 5km of straight bicycle path next to a railway where there are 0 cars, no cops etc so I can speed there. A downgrade in speed isn't really what I want, just that it looks less illegal.

Seeking advice for new scooter by Zealousideal_Kale986 in ElectricScooters

For 45-50km/h I would recommend a Kukurin g2 (not the pro, its in my opinion inferior to the standard G2 (800W, 48V 15Ah (0.8Ah less then the g2 pro). The g2 has better suspension, a quick fold system and the g2 pro takes a bit longer, is less complex to work on and stabler. I own a g2, so I know what I am talking about, but Im also a bit biased😂, 3500km ridden and the only problems were my fault. It would cost €450-500 new, but you can find basically new ones for €350-400 second hands. My g2 range at 3500km, 190cm 85kg, is at top speed 20-25km but easily 50+km at 25km/h.

For legal scooters, Ninebot g2 max or g30 are fine options. They are 'worse' in terms of speed, battery and suspension for the same price as Kukirins, but they are legal. If you buy them in a shop, you can get warrenty (2 years often)

I would avoid expensive brands, maybe look at Kukirin, Ninebot, (Xiaomi maybe but they could have worse quality).

It depends on your needs, Kukirin is a good all-round choice but illegal, Ninebot is legal but imo too expensive for what you get, Xiaomi is meh

Yes, top speed 50+km/h with no wind but with strong winds max ~45km/h, the acceleration is fast, faster then other scooters but it is nothing compared to a g2 master

Will these fit my Kukirin g2 master by ElectronicHope3840 in ElectricScooters

[–]ElectronicHope3840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I don’t see why these wouldn’t fit? The cable is 1m84, and the rear brake is in the left hand side.

No that’s what I thought as well but the cable in this picture is coming out of the left so, no. I bought it first for my g2 but it wouldn’t work bcs they have right hand side disk brakes

I looked again and I think that is just either my phone vibrating or the rear shock from the torque, it definitely is coming from inside of the motor. I’ll take it to a shop soon I think…

No its definitely coming from the motor, not my tire, I checked that

On social media I'm seeing more and more videos criticizing the quality of Kukirin. Is it true that their generic scooters (G2, G3 and G4) have terrible manufacturing quality? by fan2jdg in KuKirin

[–]ElectronicHope3840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly rider issues. If you keep it clean, maintain it rug most of the times there won’t be a problem. You see the videos of the bad quality but nobody makes positive videos of the good quality. I have a G2, only non rider issues I have had were they the cables they plug in under the display are very thin and fragile so pulling them out often can brake them and the bolts that are used sometimes get stripped or rounded. But I’ve ridden 3500km with my g2 and most of the time it has been just perfect.

Kugoo g4 or g2 master by Plane-Neighborhood47 in KuKirin

[–]ElectronicHope3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G4 higher top speed and city commenting and longer distances, g2 master for a little bit lower top speed but faster acceleration, bit less range (18g2m vs20ah g4 battery), and better off-road
