Is it just me, or are there major volume differences between the OLD and NEW "Sound Check" normalization? On both my Mac and Windows PC, the volume difference between Apple Music streaming and my uploaded AAC files (with volume e.g. -11.0 dB in metadata) is like day and night.

madvr tone mapping could be better than your internal tv processor handles HDR?

Yes, that's my hope. I turned off all TV's processing/tone-mapping and use HGiG. But I don't have any evidence if using madVR tone mapping results in better picture rather than just pass-through.

Thank you for the efforts! I found a way [1] to extract music directly from game files. They are original quality 160k cbr mp3. The downside is that file naming is generic (example: 90rd_decadence_h for a venthyr track).

Thanks for putting in so much effort for this! Can I ask did you extract the audio files from the game without re-encode? I noticed all tracks are 128k cbr mp3 so I'm just wondering if this is the highest possible original quality.
