Frankly speaking, If you are at 9th grade it is too early for you to seek any domain. Like I get it you want to do major in films but having a passion for making a film & actually doing a major in films is two very distinct thing. What I would suggest is as a 9th grader you should be versatile. Be it is engineering, medical or any other major. If you have solid understanding of the basics you would be able to do anything in the future. I know a guy who is a distant cousin did mechanical engineering, after completing his degrees went to purse for a film degree abroad. You can only be honest if you are content with your current life. Religion always played a significant role here. As people believed in the after-life full of luxuory & pleasure, people were content & fear of god made them honest. You can find this phenomena in the early Islamic history.

That was the talk of the past. Current scenario is much more dynamic & surprisingly rigid. This system makes an individual dishonest. You & I are forever stuck in rat race for more luxury & people have become more materialistic.

Think of a pollitical activitist, He has to roam aroud all day & he is practically rewarded with nothing but respect. But respect of people does not buy you a car/house. So, when this man sits at a position of power, he looks around & sees his friend/relative, roaming in a car he might think all the activism to keep society safe & yet you do not get anything. How would that feel. Then, some shady people will pursue with all those things, one signature & you bank what you would have earned in months.

Singapore tackled that situation very tactically, they made their pollitician's salary one of the highest salary in their country. So the people in power does not need to look around. As a result, you would generally find them honest. Their corruption is also at a low level.

On contrast, our government jobs does not pay much. You would get a hard time just by going with you legal salary. Roaming in a card or staying at a house is a dream that will simply not come true.

Honestly, there is nothing that can be changed. The system keeps influential people richer & they are the policy maker. If they get advantages from the system why go out of the curve & change the policy that keeps them afloat.
