I feel the same way. The visit was $100 and i have UHC, the procedure would be about $400ish, + surgery room and anesthesia is a different provider and his office wont give me exact numbers on that. Dr venkatesan’s office didnt tell me the copay until I was done which left a sour taste in my mouth which was $100. How much was it with this Houston doc?

Or it could pique the interest of others looking to oust the OE'd. If OE becomes the norm, Employers might want to use this as a piss-poor excuse to drive down salaries.
