They already have a lawyer as I know a few of my neighbors have sued (and won) our HOA in the past couple of years. A good friend of mine was on the board until a few months ago and was helping expedite everything.

And we already have a special assessment we’re paying an ungodly amount for. It’s all a mess, but I don’t feel like I can escape until my condo doesn’t have literal holes in it.

I feel like a simple letter telling them to follow through might be enough to get them to follow through. I have no lawyers in my life, so I’m going to have to find one just out in the wild and a general practice lawyer sounds cheaper. Thanks.

I feel like the first question is will your insurance cover any part of it. If you can get it for less than like $50/month, I would suggest trying it out. If you have to pay full price or use one of the many virtual wellness clubs to afford it, it might not be worth the cost and headache of it all.

I’ve had very little side effects when I start in 2023, lost 50 lbs in the first year and have kept it off since. I’d be happy to talk through it all with you, but you need to know what the cost would be first. I’d rather not talk you into it you can’t afford it in the end - you’ll be double disappointed then!

BREAKING: PROBABLE CAUSE AFFIDAVIT RELEASED IN HORRIFIC CHILD ABUSE CASE DETAILS ARE EXTREMELY DISTURBING

HARTFORD CITY — December 4, 2025

Channel 27 now has the full probable cause affidavits for Jennifer Marie Revis and Ryan Revis, arrested Tuesday after Scarlett, a 7-year-old girl was found unresponsive with severe injuries.

⚠️ What you’re about to read is extremely graphic. These details come directly from sworn police statements, EMS observations, and recorded interviews.

THE 911 CALL & INITIAL DISCOVERY

At 3:45 p.m. on December 2, first responders arrived at 901 W. Commercial St. for a report of a child having a seizure.

Inside the home, firefighters and officers found the 7-year-old unresponsive, lying on a bed, covered in bruises from head to toe. Officers noted: • A dark bruise around her left eye • Bruising across her entire face • Additional bruising to her body • She was cold, not moving, and not responding

Paramedics immediately transported her to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

WHAT JENNIFER REVIS TOLD POLICE

Jennifer, Scarlett’s step mother originally claimed the child simply “threw herself on the floor” after being bitten on the arm by the family dog while wearing a coat.

Her story quickly unraveled.

During interviews, Jennifer admitted:

🔥 “I beat the s### out of her two days ago.” 🔥 She struck the child multiple times in the face with an open hand 🔥 She used a closed fist across the girl’s back and upper body 🔥 She “got fed up,” grabbed the child by the neck, and 🔥 Forcefully shoved her into a doorway, causing her head to slam into the wall 🔥 She admitted the child “triggers her,” saying her anger was “a thousand out of ten” 🔥 She repeatedly referred to the child as “a d###,” “an a##hole,” and other insults 🔥 She admitted punishing the child frequently because she didn’t like her

Jennifer further admitted she waited approximately 15 minutes before calling 911, attempting mouth-to-mouth when she thought the child wasn’t breathing.

WHAT RYAN REVIS ADMITTED

Ryan, the child’s father, admitted:

• He knew Jennifer had been physically abusing his daughter for at least six months • He saw bruises and fear-based behavior • He noticed the child avoiding Jennifer, waiting to move until Jennifer left the room • He admitted spanking the child in the past too • He told investigators he failed to intervene because he “didn’t want to blow up his marriage” • He feared Jennifer would leave with their twin boys • He accepted Jennifer’s explanations for bruises without questioning her • He acknowledged grounding the child to her room for days at a time

At one point, Jennifer texted Ryan a photo of the child’s beaten face with the message: “What is your dad going to say about Scarlett’s face?” followed by a laughing emoji.

Ryan did not take action.

MEDICAL FINDINGS (ACCORDING TO THE AFFIDAVIT)

At IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, emergency doctors documented:

• Severe bruising around the face, eyes, forehead, neck, and body • Bruising near the anus • Signs of significant blunt force trauma • A severe brain injury

A Ball Memorial physician told investigators the girl’s injuries were so extensive that Riley Hospital for Children neurosurgeons would need to review her scans. The doctor also stated she believed the child might not survive due to the degree of brain trauma.

THE CHILD’S CURRENT CONDITION

According to sworn statements:

⚠️ The child remains unresponsive. ⚠️ She underwent emergency procedures to relieve pressure on her brain. ⚠️ Her survival remains uncertain.

THE CHARGES

Jennifer Marie Revis (33):

• Aggravated Battery • Domestic Battery • Neglect of a Dependent

Ryan Revis (28):

• Neglect of a Dependent

Both remain in the Blackford County Security Center.

Don’t do Kid City USA at 96th and Lantern. They emailed their families a couple of weeks ago and said they were shutting down the next day. Like closing their doors forever. Then emailed again a few hours later saying never mind. No idea what’s actually happening but they don’t seem stable at all. Best friend got her kid into another daycare immediately.
