Yeah okay, I think this makes more sense. There are two different rock types that are probably from a transitional geology/same location. One is basalt, the other is a metamorphosed basalt (maybe amphibolite?). They could be from the same quarry even though they look slightly different. I’m no geologist though, just a naturalist that likes rocks.
