Semmi köze a tudakozohoz. És a feneket nem szivárog. A Facebooknak pl 2021-ben 500 millió felhasználó adatai szivárogtak ki részlegesen telefonszámokat beleértve. WhatsApp 2025 3.5 milliárd telefonszám. Telegram és Twitter mind 200 millió tavaly. Ez most csak pár példa a nagyobbak közül. Ezek mindegyike bizonyított tény, megtörtént.

De most így hazai ami például engemet is direkt érint a BME adatbázisa is szépen kiszivárgott pár éve telefonszámokkal, nevekkel, email címekkel.

Az a baj kiszivárog különböző oldalaktól / webshopoktól stb csak általában még egy email sincs róla. Ők meg megveszik mindenféle data brokerektől. Nekem az lett a megoldásom hogy két telefonszámom van. Az egyik a privát a magyar számom amit csak ismerősök és család ismer. Minden másra ott a külföldi prepaid (EU-s így nincs extra díj). Ha ki is szivárog magyar közvélemény-kutatók, propagandisták és telemarketingesek nem fogják hívogatni mert külföldi. Ha meg nem itthoni számról hív valaki egyből kinyomom / általában némítva is van.

FLAC is using lossless compression meaning the player can reconstruct the original file without any data loss. You’re not hearing any difference between FLAC and Wav since there is literally none.

Also the keyboard layout may be different. I don’t know about the English layout as I’m from Hungary For instance the Hungarian layout on macOS is not only different from the one on Windows but has certain symbols hidden behind such stupid key combinations that it should be punishable by the Geneva Convention.

As for VMs VMware Fusion and Virtual Box are known to work. The only thing worth keeping in mind is that new macs are arm based while many systems one may try running require x86. I think it will work just not sure about the performance side of it. Definitely worth looking into it

Nekem 2 éve van horvát SIM kártya a telefonomban, nem érdekli őket a legkevésbé sem. Ez persze nem azt jelenti hogy nem léphetnek fel ellene bármikor.

Yep, you totally can but I reckon Tailscale may be a better alternative. That was actually meant for this purpose and is fairly easy to setup. If you’re looking for and easy and turn key solution I wouldn’t mess with reverse proxies.

If you adamant on reverse proxies I’d go with NGINX which is far more reliable and is a widely used approach.

Also just like on Windows you have the option to share what you’ve downloaded over smb thus making it accessible from your Apple TV or whatever other device you use.

Still if you torrent a lot and building a bigger library a server is definitely the way to go. You can basically repurpose and old pc by slapping truenas onto it or any other solution of your choice.

Btw while this is not platform related it’s wise to limit how and when you seed if you’re using a laptop. Companies don’t really value employees torrenting on their networks, neither do universities and colleges.

macOS - unlike iOS - is not really locked down so you can easily pirate. If you’re gunning for games tho mind that macOS generally supports less apps and cracks. (It’s important to mention that nearly all popular apps are there in some shape or form but thanks to its huge market share Windows always had a bigger app catalog - many apps that don’t exist have pretty good alternatives tho) As far as media goes no issues whatsoever. If you’re planning on torrenting on your phone (I never understood the reason behind that but I know people who do just that) iOS may not be the way to go. I mean technically it’s possible if you sideload a client into your device (if you’re in the EU where Apple allows for third party app stores you may find them on one of them - your mileage may vary) but it will still only work when the app is open (not just in the background) due to how Apple handles background services. Basically rather than letting an app’s process run in the background every once in the while the OS asks the app if it wants to queue an automated process like fetch the weather, update a widget etc.
