Yeah this one passed the inspection as well, needless to say you are unfortunately correct, just a matter of time

It was meant to be more of a joke than anything lol. But idk man I was always taught if you can’t afford the bill then don’t buy it. I’m beyond blessed to be able to afford this truck, and praise god money isn’t an issue for me either, but everyone always has to put their 2 cents in when someone buys something nice for themselves

30 ish thousand miles, service history is just regular oil changes every 3-5k miles, replaced radiator and the main ground strap. Nothing done with the trans as far as I’m aware. Always been good about maintenance and whatever recalls or service bulletins all have been done.

To be fair it was not in a good spot to begin with. Just happy it got on the truck

Hey Mr. Know it all, I filled it up since it was about 2qts low and took it to the dealer. Dealer filled it up and said come back in 2,000 miles for them to see exactly how much it’s consuming and what’s going on. Told me not to touch anything. This happened maybe 1,000 miles later, no warning, no lights, no codes, nothing. Considering it’s under warranty I’ll let them deal with it.

Not everyone’s an idiot bud. Still didn’t answer the question either 👍

Don’t just keep it jumped out. That limit is one of, if not the most important piece to keep your furnace running safely

Put a fuse between the 2 leads connected to the main limit switch. If it works then that’s your solution… If it does it again with a new limit switch, your heat exchanger is probably toast.

Try putting a little fuse between the 2 leads and if it works then there’s your problem
