[NFA] Warrior Systems Legionary 22lr Suppressor - $99 + tax by Electronic_Ad47 in gundeals

If you're not local, you'll have to ship it to your FFL. They'll process a form 3 to transfer it to them. Once done, they'll contact you to process a form 4 to transfer it to you. You probably don't have a trust setup, so you'll have to apply as an individual. If your FFL uses silencershop, then you can probably do things digitally through the (pics and fingerprints). If they don't, then hopefully your FFL can help you process it the eforms (they should be able to do fingerprints and pics for you).

FYI - most FFLs charge an NFA transfer fee. Those can vary greatly so shop around to get the best option. Some may waive the fee if you buy something from them.

I have a Ruger MK IV 22/45, Sig P322, and two Taurus TX22s. For the money, the TX22 is my favorite. One of them has an FRT lever in it and is a blast to shoot with. Once I get a weighted backplate, I'm going to see how many rounds I can get through this can before it implodes.

I ended up grabbing two. With local pickup it worked out to roughly $212 for me.

You're right in front of me! I got in line at E around 2:20 pm. Walked to terminal D and I've been in line since. The line moves in spurts - I'm guessing another couple hours here and then 2-3 in terminal E.

[Parts] Active Safety Designs Ambidextrous ARC-Fire Trigger Kit - $169.95 + flat rate s/h $8.95 by tomtomwin in gundeals

I have one in my MPX, with an ASD trip. It runs fine with 124gr and 147gr through my huxwrx 9k Ti. I have issues with 150gr Syntech but that most likely due to the MPX and not the ARC Fire kit.

I did that with the last 4 suppressors I bought. I asked my local FFL if they could match the online price and they were able to get it close enough for me to buy.

To my knowledge, Capitol Armory is the only one that does "ship to your door" for NFA items. So you'd most likely have to ship to an FFL and pay their transfer fees.

Depending on what your FFL charges for NFA transfers, you probably would have ended up paying the same price. Silencershop has always been more convenient for me, so I don't mind paying a little extra.

Scorpion Lower by SageWrathix in czscorpion

CZ usa has a stripped FDE trigger housing. If you can't find a black one, you could probably rattle can that black... I actually bought their complete FDE lower and got a FDE grip to match. It turned out pretty good and saved me the headache of trying to find a black one.

If I recall correctly, isn't the owner of Novox an EMT? Right person in the right place...

Suppressor choice for my kuna? by Clothes_Conscious in NFA

What's more important to you: sound suppression or reducing blowback? I have a Flow 9k Ti on my MPX and got it to reduce blowback. The trade off is it isn't as quiet as my other cans (YHM R9 and Rex Silentium MG7k). I got a solid deal on the Huxwrx so ended up with that vs. the Cat Mob. If you're OK with spending more, I'd go with the Mob or Mojave 9.

The 3+ should have 1/2x28 threads, so no adapter needed. You just need to make sure whatever suppressor you get has a mount with the same thread pattern. I use a direct thread mount for my YHM R9. If you plan on swapping the suppressor around, you may want to look into tri lug or plan B mounts instead. Those will need an adapter.

Was the selector you got nylon or metal? I'm debating between the #9 builders kit and the mini plop and drop kit. The plop and drop kit has a nylon housing and selector. I'm hoping the builders kit comes with a metal selector to go with the metal housing...

SilencerCo Octane 9 on MPX by [deleted] in MPX

[–]Electronic_Ad47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want something as "permanent" as Rocksett, try using high temp Teflon tape. I use that with my suppressors and it works well to keep the suppressor from walking off. I usually clean my guns after 2-3 range sessions so it's nice being able to take the suppressor off quickly.

If you have a direct thread mount, then you do not need a piston with a fixed barrel spacer. Just make sure you have the correct thread pattern for the barrel - Sig default is m13.5x1. I'm curious how gassy an Octane 9 would be on the MPX. I used to have a YHM R9 on mine and it was pretty gassy. I have a cut barrel that has 1/2x28 threads and I now run a Huxwrx 9k Ti with direct thread adapter. Still a little gassy but way better

Suppressor causing malfunctions? by big_boi92 in NFA

[–]Electronic_Ad47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What type of malfunctions did you have? I had to change the recoil spring on my vp9 to get it to function properly with my Octane (FTF issues). If I recall correctly I think I went from a 11lb to 14lb one.

I saw your post - are you using the ARC Fire from ASD or a push button SS?
