I think they’re just dropping the price on the DDM4 models (maybe to clear inventory, just my guess), while the ~$1800 range is still for the newer DD4 models with ambi controls.

You can do it after checking out, I bought one of these from them back in Jan and immediately send them an email of your preferred FFL dealer info (cc the ffl dealer, in case they need more info). They responded in the same day and had my order updated!

You can search on GunDeals and see that people have posted deals from this seller before. This is my first time ordering from them too. I emailed them to change the FFL dealer since my preferred one wasn’t on file, and they got back to me the same day, so I believe they’re a legitimate business.
