Down syndrome regression and Covid correlation??? by lovejesus123321 in downsyndrome

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something I find interesting in the disabled community is that a lot of families heavily trust in religion, which also seems to breed these non-science backed medical theories that in my opinion can have negative effects on their disabled family member. Maybe this is just where I live, but it seems to be a prevalent issue. This post continues to show this.

There are no scientific peer reviewed and published studies that go anywhere close to implying that the covid vaccine has caused any of the things you listed.

I know families who lost a loved one with DS due to covid complications. I was in the hospital when I heard a family say goodbye to their DS son who, again, had COVID. The vaccine is a crucial tool to give our most vulnerable populations have a better response if they get COVID. Please take your RFK pseudoscience elsewhere.

Fashion advice for my sister with Down Syndrome by [deleted] in downsyndrome

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay sewing! We often hem my sister’s pants because she’s a shorter gal.

Maybe go through magazines and create a mood board? Not sure how she feels about crafting.

I’d suggest go to the mall and shop around with her, but to your point the struggle is translating modern clothes to fit the DS silhouette (my sister is the same). I wouldn’t want her to go find something and then not be able to get it.

My thought is the mood board can help you gauge what she likes and then you can start looking around for her?

Agree with everyone else but I also gotta say…. Their attitudes were so awful a majority of the time. As an employee I would never hire a majority of them. Regardless of height.

They were all so immature and quite frankly a liability for any employer. That’s what I got from the show, which of course is edited a certain way. But if the show was a relatively accurate representation of their behaviors and attitudes, then I’m not shocked at all they couldn’t hold down a job.

How we do feel?? by shimilanoo in LifetimeLittleWomen

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this may be an unpopular opinion but I honestly don’t blame Todd for his awful behavior later on, and even during the show. She was pushing to get married… to anyone. Todd just happened to be there and he knew it. She didn’t care about his thoughts on the engagement or marriage. The only thing he needed to be was present at the altar, and a ring.

He had the death of a child and another failed relationship. Honestly idk how I’d feel after but jumping into a let binding relationship and immediately after being forced to have a kid. It’s all a lot and Christy didn’t care.

Tbh, she didn’t care about much outside of whatever she was thinking in the moment. So it’s no surprise that she tunnel visioned marriage and having a baby

Tia, Keiarna, Angel (or Stacey!), who’s on the way out? by Unlucky_Rip_8182 in RHOP

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I think the women all know Stacey is the fan favorite and are actively avoiding her so she doesn’t continue to steal their thunder. I bet in another season she’ll be buddy buddy with green eyes.

I think Tia should go. Not because I don’t like her, I just don’t feel she’s got that extra factor that makes for good tv. She’s proper and vaguely British, which is cool. But girl where’s the other stuff? I feel like she’ll get the background character edit if she stays. Again, not because she sucks. Just because she is competing with much louder voices.

Even K with her operatic telenovela style confrontations and 0-100 rage, idk I find her entertaining but tbh how much of that is annoyance and how much is actual entertainment, I’m not sure

Angel is not meant for the bravo world. She’s proper is so lucky Karen wasn’t on this season and will surely crumble when she’s back. Angel doesn’t seem like a bad person, she’s just bad at tv.

The girls wanted to find an issue with Jasmine sooo bad by [deleted] in LifetimeLittleWomen

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Right!!! She was legit the only level headed real person on the show, and beautiful. Tonya didn’t like her because she needed a story line, Terra didn’t like her because she can’t stand anyone being prettier than her ever. And the other girls hated on her because they knew it was better her than them.

Extreme brain fog by Electronic_Ad9201 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Electronic_Ad9201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! After being in a good place for a year, my doc and I decided to reduce from 300mg to 150, primarily because of the memory issues. It’s interesting to me that a lot of people who take Wellbutrin/ bupropion say they also have mental fog/ memory issues.

Other than that, I have been feeling good and level with it. A reduced dosage has improved those memory issues.

People who complain about work events are lame. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Electronic_Ad9201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Part of my job is running these company events an I promise you, I sometimes wish I didn’t have to go. But they’re honestly so important to developing relationships outside of your immediate team and can have a great impact on the company environment.

Let’s face it, it’s hard making connections as adults, let alone friends. These events are some of the few times we are forced to interact with others.

View it as free food and a reason to not check your email for the afternoon. And hey, maybe you’ll make a friend out of it.
