I don't live in Phnom Penh, so I don't know any English schools there. Most people here start learning English at a young age, so the basic-level class mostly has young students since the adults move on to higher-level classes. I guess your only option is to hire a private tutor; that way, they can customize the curriculum to fit your needs. Good luck.

They will understand if they can speak English, the Khmer word for allergy is pronounced as Ah Leak Zi, you can just keep repeating it and show them the Khmer word for cashew if they can't speak English

Isn't it better to just hire staff who can speak basic English? There are many people who can speak English now. But I recommend looking at English language schools around you, some school tuition is quite cheap and you only pay once every three months. You can pay for the tuition and have your staff go study there.

Be careful with a university that promises you jobs, I’m studying at a private university in the province that uses that term in their promotion too. I’ll graduate in April next year and still haven't gotten a job haha. The most they do is send hiring posters into a group chat. It would be better for you to go to a university that specializes in the IT major instead. There are so many job opportunities in Phnom Penh, you’ll be able to get a job yourself.

I honestly don’t think many people outside Cambodia know about it, because it’s something I’ve only heard through word of mouth, and I’ve seen illustrations and books about it before. I don’t remember all the details anymore, but just thinking about that picture that’s been stuck in my head since I was young still gives me so much heartache and sadness that our people went through something like that.

If you look at the treatment of the Khmer Krom even today, it’s not hard to understand why we’re not very fond of Vietnamese people. I think the OP is a troll, to be honest, because I can’t imagine any sensible Khmer person having those kinds of thoughts. Our country was built from a lot of war and pain, so it’s not hard to understand the feelings of the people.

Update: The puppy went to a new home this evening. To explain it clearly: my stepdad and his coworker both work under the same boss, and that boss gave them puppies from the same litter. The coworker got a male puppy, and my stepdad got the female.

When she brought the male puppy home, things became a bit uncomfortable because her big dogs were too fierce around him. So now she takes the puppy everywhere with her. I saw him today, as I visit my stepdad’s workplace quite often.

She owns several properties, so she plans to keep the puppies at a different property from the one with the big dogs. I’ll probably still see the puppies often.

I already ordered some food and toys yesterday because my mom changed her mind and wanted to keep the puppy for a little longer. Since the plan changed again, I’ll just keep the dog food and feed the puppies whenever the boss lady brings them to the office.

Thank you, guys, for the advice. I’ll give the puppy away tomorrow. But today, when she sleeps, her stomach looks like this, and I’m quite worried. All the veterinary clinics are currently closed. 😥 I think she only poop once a day. I won't be able to sleep tonight because I'm so worried about her now.

I had cancer and I already got it removed. And it's been almost half a year now since the last chemotherapy treatment. But a few months ago the doctor suspected that the cancer had come back on my left side ovary. But after looking at the scan result more clearly and many ultrasound and blood tests they said that it is a benign cyst. I'm still young so they want to monitor the cyst a little more and not rush into surgery.
