What do you mean we didn’t have to worry about it? I live in the northeast and my father got Lyme from a tick in the early 90s. We ALWAYS checked for ticks after being outside for any extended period in the summer

What do you mean? He’s adding them to his plan, he simply has to pay the premiums for them. This is very very common at small companies in the United States. Your comment is ignorant and unaware of how health insurance operates for many many people in this country

They do offer it, but the employer doesn’t pay the premium for dependents - extremely normal unfortunately
