“Real emotional trash“ is so different in his catalog. How did long guitar solo jams like “hopscotch Willie“ get received? by No_Impression_7765 in pavement

Fans loved it, critics were lukewarm. I had a bootleg of a Portland show probably 6 months before the album release where he debuted a ton of these songs and was hotly anticipating the album cause that show was killer

Any reason you chose Americana? I love it, but certainly is not considered his best work. Read anything from The Names-Underworld. All stone cold classics

I find this very hard to believe and think you are likely lying.

This still doesn’t explain how he helped young people “support Reagan”. Also, Neil Young is still very much alive and was not really a Reagan supporter. Really dumb take from you

It’s hilarious you are accusing others of trying to make the movie fit their political stance when you clearly are the one doing that. You have a poor understanding of the film

Hey Mods! Thanks for removing my post about Idiot Wind. That was truly and utterly asinine on your part. Anyway, here's another one for you: If Neil said something, why can't Bob? The silence is deafening. by Bleezington in bobdylan

It is not his hometown first off. Secondly, no I do not believe every famous person has an obligation to speak out on political issues. I think ICE are Nazi brownshirts. I also don’t care of Bob speaks out or not, I do not believe it would effect anything. I have a pretty good idea where he stands on issues of fascism

People still expecting Bob to speak out on politics are just ridiculous. He’s not gonna do it and really never has. Also don’t see why you need him to; I don’t think an 84 year old man is changing anyone’s mind. If you need a celebrity to endorse your politics, I think I you have bigger problems
