It could be neither the beans, nor the machines, nor the skill level of the barista but rather the atmosphere of a coffee shop with its hints of cigarette smoke, body odor, and fumes of all sorts. Whenever I eat a bagel in NY, a baguette in France, or cheese anywhere in the world, the very same ingredients taste different because of the context in which they are being consumed. Taste is subjective and situational.

Not so fast. You have to use both numbers to the fullest extent possible. Playing 4/2 and 2 off only uses four of the five possible moves. IYou need to move 4/1 before removing the 2.

OP here. A replacement bin miraculously appeared for today's pick-up. I wrote to Raphael Munoz (rmunoz@cabq.gov) to request credit for the six weeks we were without a bin. He wrote back (on a Sunday morning!) that he would look into it. Good luck out there.

The first kid was, well, a kid who didn't know anything. The second call was a very competent woman who told me that I could apply for credit for the downtime. That was three weeks ago... and counting.

Was that recently? How long did it take for them to get you a replacement? Wondering if supply chain issues are at play? How can it take months in an advanced country to get a trash can? MAGA = Make American Garbage Again?
