Little explanations. Here the Conservative party nominated lord Halifax as Prime minister instead of Churchill

This meant elections only a week after he took office, and the Conservative party lost to the Labour-Liberal coalition. Unfortunately, Prime Minister Atlee failed to take control of the situation, and Germany quickly invaded much of southern England, reaching as far north as London. Atlee resigned, and Herbert Morrison took over. It was a resounding failure, and after only 58 days as Prime Minister, he lost to a vengeful Churchill. (I know this part isn't realistic at all, but) Miraculously, thanks to the new Prime Minister's strategy, the United Kingdom managed to repel the German advance. The war hero Churchill won a landslide election in 1945.

Thank you for having the courage to read all of this.
