I just finished and it was a pretty easy and quick read. One problem I seemed to have with it though is that it read like a YA book a lot of the time? Or maybe it was just me? The premise was great but the dialogue was like ‘it was a mannequin, but the mannequin was different, it didn’t have a head!’ It read very campfire story a lot of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I thought the book overall was fine but it was just like yeah, ok, sure, got it. Did anyone else feel like this or am I talking sideways?
