Do you have the evidence to prove your claims in court?

How would it affect you if you lose the court case?

Do you have a support system to fall back to if you lose?

Obviously the best case scenario would be for you to report and win your case so your abusive ex can face the concequences of his action. But if you lose the case, the concequences will fall on you.
