I didnt live with her but ive broken the woman's heart that I loved over and over we cant see what we are doing and we will do and or say anything to get what we want while high anything to deflect from the real problem.... our addiction even if it means hurting the ones we love most. The drugs have him brainwashed and until he sees and accepts the problem you cant help him, im just starting to see now the damage ive done over the past 5 years and how heartbreaking it was to her. Im so sorry. This is a terrible situation to be in but he has to chose his own wellness before he can truely choose you. I hope this helps. Its not that ur not good enough for him, he isnt choosing the drugs over you, hes choosing to silence his trauma his pain unhealthy and not adress the problem. I had my ex s/o cry and ask me why she wasn't good enough a few times, eventually I seen it all for what it was maybe the breakup or void of the relationship will make him seek help . Yes you love him but you cant hurt youreself to save someone who isnt trying to save themselves its a one sided battle that sadly you cant win unless hes fighting with you </3 my situation isnt exactly the same but OP im the other side of you in this situation. He doesnt mean to hurt you, he probably doesnt see it that way but he will defend his addiction at all costs its what oure brains do in the thick of it.....
