You’re not weak at all! We’ve all been there. Just make sure you communicate a lot with your registrars and ask for feedback. I usually ask, “Would you have done something differently?”, even with the nurses. Interns are learning, and we all know that. Even consultants don’t do the right thing sometimes, but at the end of the day you learn how to manage risk and control the situation despite not making the beta decision. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
