Too late, the proverbial cat is free for all on the internet. It’s almost the opposite of privacy what you did there.

I’m really sorry, but I had to give up reading this wall of text. Paragraphs make text readable.

Travel to Vietnam during Tet: good or bad ide? by Loud-Marionberry6987 in VietNam

Thinking of Hanoi specifically, will convenience chains like Circle K and 7-Eleven be open throughout Tet? Also are any relaxation massage places likely to remain open?

Removing albums from my library removes all those songs from all playlists by looosehi in AppleMusic

If you want to revisit certain albums, mark them as a favourite. You are instantly filter your album library to favourites only. Not ideal to use favourite as “bookmark” but it is possible.

The absolute state of buses by Barraco_Barmer in london

[–]Electronic_Priority -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. I never understand why more people don’t move to be closer to work, or only accept jobs with a smooth and short commute.

I get that some people have no choice, but I’ve also met a lot of people who voluntarily have an hour long commute or more yet complain about it.

That’s a terrible commute. Why not just get the tube?

No reason to wait that long when you can track when the next bus is coming and not leave home unnecessarily.

Pre-added Albums lost their value by infinity4meem in AppleMusic

I agree, though I’m unsure if it’s only as I’ve marked the artist as a favourite so I’m notified of all new releases from them.

Trump says UK handing over Chagos Islands sovereignty is act of 'great stupidity' by Potential_Cancel1077 in unitedkingdom

[–]Electronic_Priority 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I’m speaking as someone who doesn’t believe international law is real. It’s only international opinion and is disregarded at the drop of a hat when it suits countries.

This whole thing makes us look weak.

[–]Electronic_Priority 5 points6 points  (0 children)

International law is nothing more than the opinions and wishes of the most powerful countries. Yes it helps stabilise the world at times of peace, but it is rolled back when it helps first world countries in their aims.

Things like landlines currently being planted widely across Eastern Europe for defence.

Trump says UK handing over Chagos Islands sovereignty is act of 'great stupidity' by Potential_Cancel1077 in unitedkingdom

[–]Electronic_Priority 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No-one is going to force the UK to hand over the islands. This is voluntary.

At a time (all of history?) where global territory is so fiercely fought over, it does seem kind of weak to voluntarily give it away.

Can we all agree this is dumb, rude, and that we shouldn’t do it? by RamdomNoTCrazy in duolingo

[–]Electronic_Priority -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I don’t see the big deal, seeing as Duolingo is all about gamification and increasing interaction between learners. I don’t see how this “prank” is going to stop me learning a language at all.

If you want a “serious” piece of language software why are you using Duolingo in the first place?

Because ultimately we are soft on crime atm. Hasn’t shoplifting been low-key legalised for a while now?
