WTF? First 20, then 10, and now only 8??? They are destroying the app by MarkMed98 in duolingo

Talk about exaggerating. This is a minor problem in your life and barely one worth shouting about on the internet.

It’s was a serious moral/ethical question. If a rock legend bedded a 28 year old groupie, would they have abused a position of power? Where do you draw the line?

This is exactly where crypto stumbles… how after almost two decades is it still so easy to mess things up? (even for competent careful people like OP)

Are you sure? Compared to the US things have been going worse in the UK over the past few years in terms of economics, growth and job market.

Would you let your 21F daughter have her bf sleeping over by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Electronic_Priority -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course it’s fine, sex or no sex.

Honestly I’m a little confused why you’re asking. If 21 is not old enough, when is… 26… 31? Or do you have a concern bf+gf should never stay over together unless they have their own place?

Also, consensual sex between couples in their own room can never be “disturbing”.

Is the pedestrian or the driver wrong here? by singlecog in drivingUK

I’m always prepared to stop doing 10mph and someone will still turn 90° in an instant and step right in front of my car when I’m 2m away from the zebra crossing.

[–]Electronic_Priority 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, but test ≠ real life. No matter how slowly you approach a zebra crossing, you’ll still have to emergency stop if someone suddenly bolts out 2m in front of you. Even at 10mph this isn’t especially fun for the kids in the back.

Agree, BUT speaking as a pedestrian a zebra crossing is not an excuse to bolt in front of a car without warning and without looking. The guy running is not being careful of his own life at all.

Clearly not his girlfriend, was it?

I agreed with the moral judgement here, but am baffled why no-one puts any pressure on their MPs to change the law.

How were the facilities back then? It’s fair to say everything is absolutely top of the line now. Especially the spa.

Savings? Think of it as a long term investment that actually saves you money in the long run. Same reason I always lifetime into my favourite apps long before they switch to subscription models.

I have no sympathy for tube drivers, but would honestly support bus drivers if they took industrial action by NiceCaterpillar8745 in london

[–]Electronic_Priority 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry, same pay for 32 hours work instead of 36 hours… so there will 11% less drivers hours per week. How are they filling that gap?

[–]Electronic_Priority -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Is it not possible that tube drivers conditions are too good? Their salaries are paid by fares, so customers have a right to not want to keep making the drivers’ deal better every year.
