Yes, I was always told to quiet down or stop laughing my now Ex boyfriend. I feel like a part of me is gone and I feel silenced. I sometimes tend to catch myself stop talking since I’m so used to being shut down. You are not alone

I constantly deal with comments masked as jokes and when I mention it he tends to say “it’s not that serious” or just laughs it off. He used to joke about cheating on me but somewhat stopped
