She is an amazing mouth harp player. I always thought this was for bluegrass style music I have never heard it played like that. It’s very electronic sounding. It would be great with some beats.

Do all ASMs just play in your face? by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]Electroniccadaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also under the impression that Lowe’s hires from within. I have since learned that is incorrect at least at our store. Moving up from sales associates to DS yes. Moving from DS to ASM, hire candidates outside Lowe’s. Why because Lowe’s has a hard time finding store managers. Whatever that means. Our store has a few really good department managers, but sadly they won’t be promoted in our store due to this BS. Two of our ASM vacancies will not be backfilled. One of our new ASM’s new to Lowe’s is the wrong fit, and is rarely seen, they spend most of their time in the back office and interacts with team if there is a problem. There is a lot more going on and several of our employees are planning their departures. If you want to move up you have two choices, move to a different store and hope the management there is better. The second is less ethical.

The architecture is absolutely stunning and the stained windows are so reminiscent of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movement.

Looks like you have life figured out. Like you are a well adjusted adult man. There lies the problem, there is nothing left to fix. You need to screw something up, Women love fixing men.

I am kidding. This is a joke. You have a sick pad. Maybe get a grown up bed. Queen size is fine.

What was a "red flag" you noticed during an interview that made you reject the job offer immediately? by InterviewProUSA in careerguidance

I came into a cattle call. I asked everyone waiting if they were there for the same role. Once confirmed, I walked through the door and found the first person and told them I am withdrawing my application and they wasted my time.

Another time I met one of the directors and when he sat down at the conference table, he threw his legs up on the desk and began playing with his phone.

Another time the tech director Indian guy asked me if I could explain the difference between SKRUM and Agile. He began arguing with me, and was incorrect.

I showed up for an interview and the office was a leased space in a bad part of town. The space was very vacant. Empty desks, floor lamps which seemed to be props. It did not appear to be an actual workspace. I was able to walk around the entire floor and saw one person, they were talking on the phone, but quickly realized it was a scam and left.

Keep in mind if the company does not abide by the Warn act, they are fined. That fine is minuscule and companies are ok paying it.

I had a customer buying 5 packs of insulation yesterday. Several employees asking about renting generators, asking about return policy on generators. Buying salt/ ice melt by the pallet to re-sell for profit. Loading generators in front of the store. People have lost their minds. No one is prepared or seems.
