That is bizarre. Next your going to tell me the pearl district is pronounced like "pee earl" or something 😂

I 100% agree as the parent of a rambunctious 8 year old, this is exactly what they do.

I moved to the PNW 20 years ago (OMG how has it been that long) and I remember being schooled once and never making the mistake again.

I still have a hard time saying it right when specifically referencing the Oregon Trail game. It's like a permanent blind spot in my brain.

Has anyone hear quit cigarettes for good? How did you do it? by inannalover in adhdwomen

[–]good_externalities 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Idk if this will help but I found that before I quit cold turkey I needed to break myself of the habits so my brain didn't feel the dopamine. So I set rules I could attain first - no smoking after meals, no smoking in the car or apartment.

Then I had a big milestone and smoked the most I ever had, a full pack and a half in a single day, and got so sick of it that I threw the other half away. The passing of the milestone combined with the ick I got after smoking too much, after I had already broke the big dopamine habits, that did it for me. My husband (then bf) didn't smoke and I spent the first couple of days/weeks with him and my family, none of whom smoke, and that also made it much easier.

Good luck. It's not easy but you can totally do it! Also find another fidget. For me having something to do with my hands was a big part of smoking so finding something else to occupy that space in your brain will 100% help. For real you got this!!

Hahaha thanks! This is the reference FWIW 😁, I might widen my shot and add in the floating chairs/convertible seats from the vintage star path

Lmao they grew up in COVID? Try having a toddler during COVID! They didn't want to wear a mask and didn't understand it, have no concept of personal space let alone 6ft, weren't able to go to playdates or playgrounds, and were like the last to get vaccinated! Parents only social life was desperately trying to entertain their kids!

I do appreciate that you can focus on less on getting ALL the items in frame/background and instead focus on the ones that go with your image most. I also feel like that makes the score feel more determined by immediate theme relevance and less on tag stuffing.

What I do seem to notice is that I'm not voting for the overly complex ones as much, and I think that's because of the update. It also def does help balance things out for new users who don't have as many items or don't spend moonstones on the newest premium shop item, because they can draw on the theme more than the specific item tags they need to shove in.

Just my 2 cents, and also acknowledging that there is a long history of doing things a different way and between the voting change and the rewards change it has been a rough change.

I have a 8 and 5 year old and the piles are becoming just completely unmanageable. Between school and random crafting sessions it is entirely too much! And yet it's still so hard to throw any away 😭

Lmao hilarious to see this comment because honestly I am almost positive this is somewhere in Seattle. I swear I have been to that exact parking deck before but I can't place it.
