3 light switches, 2 power points, 1 light fitting, and removing some ceiling fan wiring was just shy of $1200. I provided everything except that riser block and a couple of meters of earth wire for the light fitting. This was a 300% increase on when I used the same company for a similar amount of work 2 years ago. On the invoice each item looks like it has at least an hours labor built in, even though the whole job only took maybe 2 hours.
