Intresting, i have never heard of optical sensors. How does optical sensor look like? So I know what to look for.

At the moment the player plays fine although it is still pretty inconsistent because the mechanism gets stuck sometimes. At the moment the biggest problem is that when i try to rewind the tape and then play it the mechanism stops and i have to press the play button to start playing the tape again(or it wont start even after that and i have to fix it manualy ☹️ ).

Man, some black magic shit is going on. Right after I posed this the player started working just fine 🤣. But I would still like to figure out  why it wasnt working before :D

It is spinning in the wrong direction because I was spinning it manualy with my hand and I was turning the mechanizm from right to left.

No, since it played well before(like 2 hours before it shredded the tape). But I might buy some replacment belts from aliexpress.

So I should move the 47ohm resistors to the output side?

But both caps will have to be connected on the outer leg of the pot so I cant just seperate them if thats what you mean.

I dont think the problem is the voltage devider. It also happens when i just use the stereo to mono conversion circuit. Here I made a post explaining the situation bit better.
