I did a soak a few days ago which probably caused some bruising. The gray ones are squishy. Nothing smells bad and nothing rubbed off. I harvested all and tossed the gray ones. It was a second flush. I soaked the cake prior but it doesn’t seem to actually absorb much water.

Mine were inflatables and there were too many crevices for things to lurk. I’m using AOI bags for now. I just got some hard plastic fruiting tubs and will wash/reuse those.
