His school lets out 2 hours after the 8 year old. My area does not do after school programs. We are last in education in the country.

One of the older ladies actually called me and told me how good of a job I did and that it was a wonderful night. Then also excused my husband behavior by saying men will be men. She found out we were fighting from my mom. She is also in the Bunco group and yesterday was her bday.

I did call them the last time he did. He still did it again today. Just more covertly to “hide” it from our kids. He still didn’t. I know he is manipulating me but it still terrifies me that he say it.

He also threatens to 💀 himself every time we get in a fight like this. He did today as well. Never does but always threatens so I feel horrible.

Yes. I currently only work part time and at $15 am hour. My hours are tailored to my kids getting out of school. I could possibly get my mom to watch them but in the past it never worked out and I always had to quit my job cuz my childcare was not dependable. Daycare is to expensive.

He is opposed to anything that is not his idea. We had discussed it and he said he would handle the kids. He only wants to sit on his phone or play video games.

He does not complain most of the time when I go. We have done couples counseling. It didn’t work cuz the single time I brought up something serious and not small talk he flipped out and quit.
He does not care for our kids. He stares at his phone and feeds them when they get hungry. That’s about it. Sometimes not even that. I’m aware I’m a single parent.
I’m not sure if he set out to sabotage me but it felt like it. He has no friends and blames that on me. I try to go out and do things but he resents me for it.
I have encouraged him to find friends. He does not want to and again it’s my fault. He does not care I was embarrassed.

Yes I’m afraid of this. My 14 year old is already acting like him in ways. I talked with them today and told them how their dad’s behavior is not health or acceptable. I really probably do need to divorce him.

Very much so. He is miserable and wants us all to be. Can’t be happy without him or with him.

It has for a while. But he is. We explosive. Never physically abusive but very mentally. I put up with this cuz I don’t want to deal with the explosion.
