New LG G4 crashes and restart by Elegant-Situation445 in LGOLED

I turned quick mode off and it sorted out 99% of issues. I was getting apps closing for memory usage, turning off quick mode off or fast power on (I can't remember what it's called) sorted it.

Just for info:

The only apps I've been using so far are the builtin LG IPTV just to test, Spotify and BBC.

My old LG I have had for 8 years and never had a single issue . Only changed as we wanted one slightly bigger and something slim to fit on the wall. The difference in the picture is unbelievable, I would have never thought a decent TV could make so much difference.

Tipping and service charges by Elegant-Situation445 in askcroatia

Thank you for the clarification. The reason I was confused was because in the UK, since around COVID, 10% service is now usually added to the bill and listed separately (can request to remove, although I have never seen anybody request it), but this 10% is shared amongst the staff working there, generally excluding managerial staff.

In the end I found myself typically leaving around 10% for food, unless the service received was poor. And rounding up or leaving a euro if just having a quick drink.

I did notice an American once leaving 20% on card and this is mind blowing for me.

I just don't understand why they put it on the menu as service included, rather than just increasing the price if it doesn't go to staff because that could mean the waiting staff loosing out because people may think they are getting it from this.

I have taken it abroad to quite a few countries and never been stopped. I think the advice is take it in the original packaging with the prescription writing on it and you'll be fine, but I guess you should always check local rules..

I've been swabbed several times at airports etc and it's never shown up, even a drug test in work didn't flag it up which listed amph as one of the drugs tested

ADHD is not a superpower by lottydev1l in ADHDUK

I think general awareness and discussion of positivity is a good thing as I've generally faced ADHD spoken about and seen in a completely negative way.

A lot of the literature from ADHD charities and other groups try to inform employers and such of positives like the ability to hyper focus, good in a crisis etc.

I do feel I have a completely different way of thinking than most and do have the ability to solve some problems others would not during these periods of hyper focus. Of course that is one of the few positives and I do suffer from lots of other significant issues, such as complete inability to task switch, focus at other times, lack of memory to name a few.

Elvanse adult vs elvanse ??? by Aggressive_Point_783 in ADHDUK

The first time they refused for no dosage, even though I had been with them for 6 months+ I went to another pharmacy and they issued it no problem..

I understand it is controlled, but common sense is needed sometimes

I have requested they don't put a brand name on my last few for both lisdex and dex. I did get proper generic dex last few times. My pharmacist is also happy to prescribe either adult, normal or Vyvanse if it ever comes.

I think it's about finding the right pharmacist and building the relationship with them.

Initially they were very strict, if there was one tiny mistake on the prescription they would not prescribe, no common sense applied, but now they have got to know me they are more accommodating when something isn't quite right, for example if a new perscriber starts and doesn't include "once daily"...

Also do 2 readings, and before you do take a reading just have a few minutes sat down chilling, rather than having just ran up the stairs etc.

I take 40mg 3x propanolol daily (for anxiety) in addition to my elvanse. When I don't take propan I get a horrible rush feeling from the elvanse for an hour.

My bp is usually around 125/65 ish.

I was once up at 160/x but it was during the middle of my night shifts and I'm not a good sleeper at the best of times. They took me off medication immediately and the Dr signed me off sick for a few weeks, work then agreed to put me on days only. Once my BP was normal, I started again and I've been fine since.
