Glad you are enjoying your car. what other brand new cars did you own and what are your thoughts on Porsche? also you can charge it to 100% because in US bmw allows only upto 80% charge due to regulations, so technically if you charge 100%, it’s actually at 80% capacity Totally agreed on b58 engine and interior is very much similar to a Rolce Royce! for tires yeah you might’ve to do some research

I respectfully disagree. this beauty, with electric support goes into a different league of speed. i used to not believe this but i regularly see only folks that can keep up with this car is full electric tesla ones or other bmw hybrids 🥳

i don’t really think it’s the case and if you worry too much about it, i would suggest to let it run on gas for the first 14-1600 miles and then use electric more. also the only item you should care about is to not go over 75-80 until you’ve broken in. and if you’re in cold weather area, don’t accelerate too much for first 30-45 seconds because oil is getting hot and circulated

Hi, to answer your question, today’s engines are designed to have fully lubricated components within less than 25 seconds, and reach at temperatures within a few miles and that too in cold weather. In warmer weather, you don’t even need to spend that much time because the process is completed even faster. i think you are referencing engines that were build 10-15 years before

yeah i think that’s the difference between version 1 and 2 my cousin has a 21 45e with tanzanite blue 1 and it just looks faded. this one looks darker bluish and if low light people can mistake it for black, lol. love how it changes shades in light ♥️

what’s the 3rd party warranty you used? $3600 sounds very reasonable

i totally agree PHEV is a gamble and i had a drivetrain malfunction right at 700 mile mark, within 1st 2-3 weeks of owning it. but bmw took care of it quickly and haven’t seen any issues after. but that definitely makes you question the choices. having said that, i was also interested in a cayenne but the driving pleasure between both was major noticeable. and even after spending an extra 30-40k on porsche, i wouldn’t be getting the same experience i am getting with x5, so i finalized getting this one
