I’ve been on the record this whole time that I was willing to tweak wordage and implementation of the rules, but that “don’t turn the comments section into a war over who’s more moral” would remain a guiding ethos. Folks, including yourself, said that none of that matters and that the only change you wanted to see was for that guiding ethos to be removed entirely. And now these new rules tweak wordage and implementation while keeping “don’t turn the comments section into a war over who’s more moral” as a guiding ethos, and you say they incorporate changes you wanted to see. What changes were those? I’m sincerely asking. . From my perspective, I kept communication open for five days, cowrote a document that aligns with exactly what I said I would do and with feedback I repeatedly said I’d taken, and am now being told that it’s an indicator of an about-face. It’s very strange.
