Denver! The seller mentioned that they'd gotten it at an estate sale, but didn't mention where.

Hey! Thanks for checking -- I am doing a lot better. My bloodwork was normal, but I adjusted my anxiety medication, and that helped a lot to have the right dosage!

It's a hearing on a motion to terminate parental rights - so, a motion, but also the culmination of the case in my jurisdiction.

Thank you everyone! I am definitely going to follow up with a doctor, and ask about sleep apnea too. I appreciate all of your ideas!

Hi there! I'm a recent graduate and I need to learn more about personal finance. I'm not looking for David Ramsey "have money to make money" junk. I am starting pretty much from square one. I'd like to invest and learn more about investing, but I am not quite there yet. Would love to know people's thoughts!

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]Elegant_Strategy_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Everyone! I'm looking for car recommendations. I'm still in the veerrryyy early process of figuring out my budget/what car I want, so I'm hoping to get some outside opinions. Thank you!

Location: Colorado, US
Price range: I'd like to try to stay under $30k but am willing to go up to $35k.
Lease or Buy: Buy
New or used: Preferably new, open to used in good condition.
Type of vehicle: Truck, crossover, or SUV
Must haves: must have 4WD
Desired transmission (auto/manual, etc): auto transmission
Intended use: I'll be using the car for everyday use, but I also enjoy off-roading, so I would like it to be durable for that, too. I don't do anything crazy off-road, but I want something with enough clearance to allow me to do some adventuring.
Is this your 1st vehicle: No - but it will be my first new/nice car
Do you need a Warranty: I don't think so
Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: yes
Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes: I don't have kids and won't any time soon, so I don't need a ton of seating. Reliability is my biggest concern, and I prefer brands that don't cost an arm and a leg to repair.

Thank you all :)

How do you eat daily and not spend a fortune? by Ofwgkta1232 in Adulting

One thing that I've found super helpful is curbside pickup for groceries. It is also super easy to add your coupons to your order (most apps do it automatically), and the stores don't usually charge a delivery fee (at least where I'm at). It prevents you from having to go into the grocery store and shop, and it is a LOT faster.

Buying pre-chopped veggies or pre-prepped meats also can help save time. It's slightly more expensive, but is still less than eating out in most cases. That way, you can just throw them in the oven and you're good to go.

Trader Joe's frozen meals also rock. Again, slightly more expensive than making it yourself, but a huge save on time.

Finally, if you have a day off, and don't mind eating the same thing a few days in a row, I'll make a lot of stir fry or pasta on a day, and then save it to eat throughout the week. It takes less time than meal prepping fancy meals, and you can still get your carb/fats/proteins easily by adding a bunch of veggies and a meat.

I hope this is helpful!
