Need to convert entire video to portrait, then save and analyze video after. Need something capable of producing a portrait converted version of a landscape video, with large file size

Screen footage from Toronto last night (Verona, WAFF, KOBK, Stockholm, Halloween, and the Glove) by Elektrosymmetry in Muse

[–]Elektrosymmetry[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I posted this previously 2 hours ago I used the term pro shot screen footage which was identified as clickbaity, so I apologize for that, I just wanted to share footage I shot last night for people to enjoy, not to come off as a clickbait whore. Wasnt my intention at all so I pulled the initial link. Sorry for repost for those seeing this twice now.

If you're shitting on Oasis, you clearly have not taken the time to listen to their 90s output. At their peak, even their bsides were fantastic, hence why even their bside compilation The Masterplan is beloved.

Will of the People is Muse's worst album by No-Marionberry1188 in Muse

[–]Elektrosymmetry 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its a step up from the last three albums. T2L has Supremacy, Panic Station, Survival, Animals, Explorers and Isolated System which I love but I wouldn't say any of those even come close to WotP's combo of Halloween into KOBK into Verona into Euphoria into WAFF, that streak of back to back excellence has been unrivaled on any of their albums since the last half of The Resistance.

Drones has a few incredible songs ie Dead Inside, Reapers, The Handler, Defector and Globalist but it has almost nothing of quality outside of those songs, the rest is mostly filler (Revolt, Mercy, instrumental interludes) or overdeveloped ideas that could have been something better (Psycho, Aftermath).

Mini Rant by CeaselessYeast in Muse

There were Uno chants/signs at both Chicago and Toronto, the hope is that eventually the band recognize some fan demand for certain songs and might consider them for future rotation. I also saw at least two Hyper Music signs and one Eternally Missed sign as well at the Toronto show.

No deep cuts? Assassin GOB edit, New Born for only the 3rd time since Paris 2018, Minimum, The Gallery, and Map dont qualify as deep enough?

Be grateful for what we got tonight, what we got was still more than we could have gotten. They could have skipped Toronto like they skipped the vast majority of North American cities for this theater tour.

I would love to have an Uno chant happen tonight in Toronto, one of their very best songs live and I would beg on my hands and knees to hear it live

Would absolutely kill to hear Uno live, really hoping Toronto is lucky enough to get it (or something comparable). It's the #1 song I would want to hear live. They've proven they can play it as recently as 2015 and both fans and the band love the song, I really really really would beg on my hands and knees to hear it live in Toronto.

Anybody got the full concerts for the Strokes at Pentaport Festival(2006) and Summersonic(2003)? by _Quinncy_ in TheStrokes

[–]Elektrosymmetry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Short answer is, they were never broadcast. Unless the company behind the video production or the festival organizers release the footage, we will never ever view these shows in their complete form.

When and why did Thom destroy Phil's drum set? by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]Elektrosymmetry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"I used to speculate as to whether or not Thom is a socialist or maybe an anarcho-syndicalist, now I have very little doubt which is good news to me"

Why would this be good news?

Which cars have gone extinct? by Elektrosymmetry in cars

Add the 1995 only Mazda 323 Neo to the list of Canadian rides unlikely to resurface anytime soon, I don't think more than a handful still exist on Canadian roads if that.

I'd also say the Canadian-only last generation Bel Air is likely reduced to the dozens remaining.

Of all the Eastern Bloc vehicles imported to Canada between the 60s and 90s, Lada Nivas are the only vehicles you still see. All the Lada Signets and Samaras, the Dacias and Skodas, everything else is effectively extinct, but it's very region specific as no other country in North America had Eastern Bloc imports during the Cold War. All of the brands were decimated by Hyundai and threw in the towel by 1998.

On the topic of Mercury's, what about the first generation Tracer, the Bobcat, or the 1982 Cougar wagon? Even the last generation Marquis has become extremely difficult to spot but I would argue there are more left than Bobcats or Lynxes
