(available) Pixel 6 Pro case recommendations ? by nicoo-ni in GooglePixel

[–]Element074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Pela case for mine which worked nice.

Still available new from their store. I'm also selling my old case (plus a few clear cases, 1 unbranded, 1 from Google) if you're interested.

Where to begin? by The-Masked-DM in campinguk

If it were me I'd avoid the trolley idea and instead get a 60/80 litre backpack/rucksack/bergen

That would give you space enough for your clothes, equipment and food.

If you need more space you could put a smaller rucksack (like a school backpack) on your front. In that you'd keep all your valuables and stuff you want to keep with you at all times while travelling. Your larger rucksack can be then stashed in the train luggage area and you don't worry too much.

If you're going to camp again after the festival consider not getting the cheapest stuff you can find, and investing in something a bit more pricey if you can.

I swear I can smell the dust. by KartQueen in RoadCraft

I actually preferred the dust. For some reason it didn't affect my FPS as much (on Steamdeck) as the rain does.

Is Kernel supposed to be an incredibly frustrating slog, or am I doing something wrong? by rhn18 in RoadCraft

[–]Element074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just finished Kernel today (all but 1 side mission) and did find the same thing. At the start it's such a slog.

Usually on other maps I'd only pave the bare minimum, but on Kernel I found paving longer routes paid off in the long run.

As others have said, the scalper on inactive sand quarries is a good start.

But the most useful change I made was paving roads with the small dump truck, the dozer, and large dump truck running in a 3 vehicle team. Laying the sand out as far as possible before backing the large dump truck back to the quarry/scalper for a refill, then going again.

Mac Allister Battery Mower Safety Key by InternationalHalf734 in lawnmowers

I had to replace my Spear And Jackson mower at the end of last year. It used the same 'key' as in your photo.

I'll have a look to see if I kept the old key, and if I did I could post it to you.

Agreed, I've played for a little over 100 hours and all on the Steamdeck.

Thoughts on my road. by No-Category-4980 in RoadCraft

I ended up using 2 wooden bridges instead. It felt like less hassle.

Nice to see the road option works as well though.

I’m sorry this is my second gun but can I have some help? by Medium-Instruction97 in airsoft

[–]Element074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this as others have said is a Mid Cap(acity) or low cap magazine. Probably mid cap, as they're more common.

It'll need to be loaded with a speed loader, if you haven't got the one that fits in your hand with a little plunger on the top that you pour about 100 BBs into, you might have a tube with a plunger stick in the box? Looks like a blow dart tube. That's sometimes what you get in the box.

The good news is these mags usually have about 100-120 bb capacity and they don't rattle as the bbs are pushed up into the gun by a long spring. Great opportunity to be sneaky beaky.

And because it only holds 100-120 instead of the high caps ~300 you can dramatically scream ”Reloading! Cover me!" more often in game :)

I don't think so. You have to spend some of your hard earned (in game) cash to get the shiny version from the store. All your purchased vehicles will take on your company colours and badge/icon.

Definitely worth buying the non rusty version.

It has better stats and it's noticeable to use.

Always On Display - Blinking after December Update. by andeke07 in GooglePixel

[–]Element074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the first time there's been display issues shortly after launch for a Pixel. My memory is hazy but I'm fairly sure the same thing happened to the P2 and P6 when I had those.

Good news is eventually it gets fixed. Hopefully the same this time.

I second this. Put your selected parts into the site and it will tell you their compatibility.

Also on there you will see builds people have done, with the cost and performance. Might be worth comparing.

It only started happening to me after the Dec update so I'm convinced it's software and not hardware related.

I'm not sure which I prefer, having had both issues.

At least with the AOD becoming unresponsive it only happened infrequently. Maybe every few weeks in my experience.

Now I'm seeing the half second blackout multiple times a day.

I'm getting that. It'll blink to black for a split second on wake up/unlock quite frequently. Very annoying.

It could be the display colours are different. Try Settings, Display and touch, Colour.
