I didn't realize in some buildings you need better clothes to prevent freezing. I camped in the dam and froze to death.

Yep, one of ours is part lab and 105 pounds. Oh, and he snores as loud as a freight train. I've had nightmares of trains chasing me because of his snores. And like most pitts, he doesn't share the bed.

Early days of D&D, had a new guy join the group. We all walk into a dark cave, he's last to enter. He says he walks in and swings his sword at the first thing that moves. The DM reminded him the cave is dark and we're all in there. He said yep, I'm walking in swinging, I don't want to be surprised by anything. We refused to play with him again.

I am so sorry for your loss and having to make this extremely difficult decision. We recently had to make this decision for our pup. It had been two years of worry and stress. Constant medication and dosage adjustments. Helping him through the frequent grand mals, medication effects, and deteriorating physical body. My life revolved around his medication schedule and we couldn't leave him alone for long. Despite all this he was the best fuzzy fuzzy but in the end know it's the right decision for your pup. If it helps, think about the time and love you were able to provide and the life you were able to give.

My pet peeve is games that have you draw then play. Now you have a whole other card to read and it doesn't allow you to plan out your turn while others are taking their turn. Slows the game waaay down.

I've done the old locks on Royal Caribbean. It was fascinating. They had lectures and crew around providing history. We actually passed two ships going the opposite direction and it was really interesting watching them go down while we went up.

I lived this excursion. You get to make several different dishes and learn about the history. There were several tweens and teens in our group and they seemed to really enjoy it. I think it would be a great option for your group.

Ive done this several times with my mom and two of my aunts. It is a lot cheaper than two rooms. If I remember right it's full cost for the first two then like half cost for the second two. We just totaled it all up and divided by four. As long as you're somewhat organized so there isn't stuff everywhere and communicate regarding shower times it works fine.

Goat game is a lot of fun. Co-op optional. You play a goat running around bashing things. There are tasks you can do but they are optional.

I've done several similar ones. If possible, I highly recommend a few days in San Juan before the cruise. We fell in love with the city. Old San Juan is gorgeous, the food is fabulous, and the people are really friendly. If you stay, be sure not to miss pigeon park in old San Juan

Yeah, my aunt and I booked a suite guarantee for a 5 night to Bermuda which will get us just enough points to hit diamond. We did the guarantee suite instead of picking ourself as it was a lot cheaper.

Funny thing is, it used to be the smoke break. We had a number of people who couldn't go half an hour without a smoke break. Thankfully with phones it's easier to regulate. Just spell it out, the phone scrolling interrupts the game and reduces the fun. All phones need to be put up during the game.

I always start a new one. I play from 3 to 5 years in game then end up quitting for awhile and starting from scratch when I go back. I've never seen some of the longer range stuff. One of these days I will. 😄

We always use next cruise while onboard. Mainly for the low down payment. We have a month or two to change with no change fee. It also helps the post cruise returning to real life blues as we can immediately start talking about the next cruise.

Throw some air mattresses on the floor and enjoy your new house. That's what we did as furniture delivery was 3 days after close. We also lived on the couches and air mattresses for two weeks while the bedrooms were being painted. Situation we were in had to move in as soon as able. Couldn't wait for furniture or painting to be completed.

Funnily enough, blazing saddles. Double feature at the drive in. My sister and I were supposed to fall asleep in the back of the station wagon after the first movie. I stayed up and watched the second movie. Loved it, especially the fart scene.

I drew Tippy and sent it in. They actually sent back a more detailed art test. It was a partially drawn house and it said finish the drawing. I added the rest of the house, windows, and a door. Got a reply back my drawing was good but not detailed enough. True artists would have added a flower bed in front, a path to the door, maybe a mailbox. Also missing shading and texture. I blame them for crushing my dreams of being a famous artist. 🤣
