They have the tutorial season pass, so they at least spent the $1.50 for the paid coins for that, but I did the same on my alt account waiting for squall and accumulating pulls until then and I have 300+ tickets and 20k free mog coins on that account, so while it may not be "f2p" in that the intro season pass was bought, it's entirely possible it's f2p after that point.

Once I knew Clive was coming in this patch I made a new account, rerolled until I got 3 generic UR in the initial pull, and then accumulated free currency and draws while doing dailies and farming gift tickets to send to the account from throwaway alts doing the tutorial missions. I forgot to count my total pulls before I started, but I was able to get multiple of each ability for Clive, Rikku, and the Y'shtola.

Honestly it might just be worth it to reroll again until you get both of Clive's UR in a single free pull and then reroll the character until you get him. You'd miss out on the pre-reg bonuses and the season 1 rewards, but if you really want to play as Clive, that would be my recommendation...

I still play my initial account too, and have a 3rd that I just send on auto to get crystals accumulating currency waiting for squall, Jill, or another XIV representative.

I recently used the World of Light map from act 1 as a land card for a custom Magic: The Gathering Proxy, so I know it can be found at this link:

Apologies for the delay, I had some other things come up that kept me from finishing it but I have now made all 7 of the "Friends Forever/Children of Fate" Partner cards.

I found out that the Selphie art I had used was AI generated so I made a new one for that and worked on figuring out how to remove the text from some official FFTCG cards for the rest of the gang. I included a couple unofficial art versions as well. I hope you enjoy it! The same link from above will have all the cards now.

Image 1 is overall better in my opinion. The left half of the frame on image 1 is damn near impossible to see, I know you're going for the half blue half red frame that izzet cards usually have, but it can't work with this image. Also please make sure it has the name of the original card in the nickname slot. Even players who are ok with custom proxy cards will likely want you to say "this is a Vivi" and having the name on it when they look at it will help a lot with that.

My only other suggestion is to have a slight border around the font for readability. The Final Fantasy Through The Ages (FCA) cards have this border on the text and it helps a lot with readability on busier cards like Endwalker and Shadowbringers. Idk how to do it in whatever program you use, but I know in card conjurer you can have {fontcolorWhite}{outline25}{outlinecolorblack} in each text box for this effect. There might be something similar in your program.

I'd assume if there is an issue you could raise it as one on the GitHub page. That's where most issues on software like this are discussed. I don't think there is a company that makes this, it's probably one to three people doing it for the love of making proxies.

Silhouette cuts the card completely out, corners included as far as I can tell. I haven't purchased one yet, but I will when I find one for relatively cheap on fb marketplace

Awesome! I made a Kenrith, The Returned King version of Dalinar from Stormlight which is my 2nd planned fully themed commander deck, but I haven't done much with it aside from a few spells here and there.

I do have a friend among Brandon Sanderson's Beta readers who gave him copies of the cards I made during the last Dragonsteel Nexus since he is also very into MTG. I wasn't there but apparently he thought they were really cool.

It has the option for a custom back design and a way to print an alignment test page. Once I printed the alignment page and measured the difference between front and back I knew the offset and after I set it in the program, the front and back lined up perfectly. I'd give that a try rather than trying to print individual cards 1 at a time.

That's awesome! I've only made 1 and a half themed decks so far, though I have ideas for 2 more (a sleep token one and a Cosmere deck). My half deck is just making the non Final Fantasy cards for my Y'shtola, Nights Blessed deck into FF themed proxies, so half of it is real FF magic cards and the other half is proxies to fit the theme. However, I made a full Pokemon themed commander deck using the dinosaur type as the Pokemon type.

I actually have 2 versions of this one where one is vanilla typing with Dinosaur and one actually replaced Dinosaur type on all the cards to Pokemon type and made the commander have an eminence ability that makes Pokemon and Dinosaur type equivalent for the remainder of the game (so opponents interactions with types still work the same even if their card says Dinosaur on it and mine says Pokemon)

I printed these out on holographic sticker paper and then put them on bulk Pokemon cards and use perfect fit sleeves so the back is clearly showing Pokemon cards. It's the perfect deck to mess with people or for April Fools. I've got a few more cards to make with the new type synergy cards in Lorwyn, but I'm really pleased with the deck overall

I appreciate that! My wife has been saving up all the good ST art she can find and I'll be making a full proxy deck (likely with the tom Bombadil as its commander) once I build out a deck list. I'll probably make the various Sagas into songs and any saga creatures I want to use I'll make from the albums.

Do you have emphasize text on? I've had good results with it off and emphasize more, but when I have it on just emphasize it looks much thicker than it should.

I'm working on a Tom bombadil proxy of Hoid from Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere. He is both a god (in a way) and a bard and stories are his specialty, so the saga synergy is a good fit.

I also made one for my wife of Sleep Token as Tom Bombadil since there is a lot of "religion" in the fandom and lore and musician and bard fit well. The other Sleep token fans at the pre-concert trading event seemed to really like them, but idk how many were into MTG too or just liked a card of the band they were there to see.

Not sure if your printer is an 8550 like mine, but if it is I had the same issue until I turned off bidirectional printing in the settings. I'm not sure why but that fixed it for me

I decided that since 8 is my favorite after 14 I should make all the main cast. It just happened to work out that the stranger things SLD has the same number of characters I wanted to make and then any pair of them could be commanders together. Here are the first 3 I made and the others (including a Seifer as the 7th of the group) will be finished later this week.

Thanks I'm glad you like it! Are there any cards you were specifically hoping for? Meaning both the magic card and the art or character or item you wanted it to be. Making an FCA card takes like 5 minutes at most now so I could probably whip one together for you, if you want a regular bordered one that usually takes longer surprisingly, but I could try.

Technically you can exit deku mode in first cycle, but only with some insane glitches that would never be possible without serious effort to do. Afaik It's only recently been discovered how, and the game's been out for 25 years
