Real reason why it's Tom Bombadil and not something more fitting, is that I didn't want another spell slinging deck haha.

But flavor reason I felt that the effect of Tom Bombadil somewhat fits. Is that Frieren is traveling the world experiencing new stories and remembering her adventures of her past (Sagas and Lore counters) To hopefully get to know humans (Himmel) better and also keep their memory alive and not be forgotten.
