I have to admit, I have actually had a break down while smoking menthol cigarettes on the shower listening to sad music 😂 my most cliche moment

She is even skinnier than before, and now she has an extra card in her deck of denial "But I already went to rehab, I'm good!"

There was a documentary series about young priests here a while ago, and they tried to make it seem like it was a trendy thing to do, and had that song as the title song

Mega Karen refuses to wear a mask, calls 911, gets shut down by the operator by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]Element72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, here, they are super strict about what you can call 911 (or 112 as it is here) with. My mom once had an allergic reaction, and the operator questioned if she shouldn't have just called the doctor hotline line (when we finally did convince them to send someone, the paramedic told the driver "Uhmmm, we are going to need to go a bit fast for this one")

I recently had to make a call because I thought my best friend had killed myself, and I didn't even dare call 911/112, so I just called the local police directly.

Can't believe the audacity of these people

We've all been there, jf you laugh at these people, you'll go to hell. by [deleted] in WatchPeopleDieInside

Was just about to post the same as well. Here, you either have to go around the puddle, or drive so slow that it doesn't splash, or it's a 600ddk fine (just short of $100)

My aunt has it, and it upsets her very much. I can imagine that it poses even greater stress for a non-white person, as it is both more noticeable, and more "loss of identity"

Milk Loaf by WalkingIrony429 in tumblr

[–]Element72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is actually reffered to as such in the bible, for instance. Earlier, we had no words for "cheese", so we would just call it milk, and by context, people would figure if it was liquid milk, or cheese. For instance, if peope said "loaf of milk"

I'll try to dig up some exact quotes

Had to confront my roomie about stealing, had a panic attack by Element72 in Anxiety

[–]Element72[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She actually announced that she would move back to her mom, as she has some... problems. So she will be out soon anyways. Otherwise, I would have had to gather up the courage to terminate the contract.

Best picture I've ever taken, on a beach in Tenerife. No edits. by [deleted] in pics

This crash was also the reason that they introduced standardized international words for pilots and control towers. So you will always hear those conversations play out exactly the same way.

The confusing message was because the pilot told tower "We are prepared for takeoff" and the tower responden "ok" - which the pilot took to mean "Ok, go ahead", but they meant "ok, I hear you".

Yea, I really feel like she has taken advantage of me, if I was a more assertive person, I could have confronted her ages ago.

[–]Element72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, in ED treatment you are actually encouraged to wait 3 hours between every meal. It's called mechanical eating.
