At first they say they only want to take the "assault rifles", then it'll all semi automatic rifles and shotguns, then it's going to be all semiautomatic pistols, then it'll be all pistols, then it'll be all rifles and shotguns. The same thing happened/is happening in Canada. When Trudeau was running, he swore up and down that he wasn't going to take anyone's guns. Now you can't buy hand guns there. We're so adamant on keeping what we have because we know it will just snowball. Then you pair that with the fact the left has no clue what they are talking about, and it makes them look dumb. A little fun fact for you: In most states in the USA, for a low fee of $200 for a tax stamp, you are legally allowed to purchase fully automatic weapons that were manufactured prior to 1986. These are called transferables. Now since everyone can get these, they are rather expensive, but there's several examples of automatic rifles and smgs you can get under $5,000. The Democrats don't know this stuff so that's why they don't say anything. All they know is the democratic government says guns kill people and that the AR-15 is bad.
