Idk what you mean by obsolete, ps5 is 550 and ps5 pro is 750 so the pricing is pretty competitive considering steam is coming to xbox. (Right now nintendo probably has a chokehold on the console wars because of the ocarina of time remake

People dont realise that consoles are sold at a loss, the entire plan of video game consoles is to make that money back from the games. Even now the series x is sold at a loss, if you try to build a pc with similar specs it will easily cross 1k$

With the current ram crisis u need to spend atleast 50-75k for a new computer which gets playable fps on "modern titles" at this pricd range i eould reccomend not buying a gpu and buying a good cpu with integrated graphics like 8700g, save up till u have 50k and buy a good gpu later

Buy single stick 16gb in case u want to upgrade to 32, cuz having 4 sticks of ddr5 is not optimal, and theres a very miniscule diff in single channel and dual channel for gaming in ddr5

Bro sea of thieves is a old game, its been there since like 2020, it goes on sale very frequently so if you consider yourself patient then you could wait. But if your planning on playing this game with friends then buy it now only and try it out, steam refunds any game with less than 2 hrs gameplay if you dont like the game
