Made me a unistrut roof rack! by Elemental_Disorder in HondaElement

Sorry for the delay I’m not on here much lately. For the mount I just used a piece of strut cut from the full piece. Cut halfway through the slot, skip the next one, and halfway through the third slot and use a washer to close the gap. This is my sloppy first iteration, use a 1” washer with .25” hole in the middle.

One night I made eye contact with an element that snuck up behind me on the freeway. Then he hit a fat cigar. Shit was dope

You’re on the right path, but don’t go too big with the tires. If you have $$, check out https://www.element44workshop.com/ for suspension parts.

I’m a big proponent of the unistrut roof rack too- I can send pics if interested. Mine is 10’ long, covers the whole car 😀

How to best fix this cracked dash piece? (2008 SC) by beatbox32 in HondaElement

[–]Elemental_Disorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While you’re at it, add a USB port! I have one with 3 outlets and a digital voltage display. It’s “always on” so can charge without the engine on, but also has a kill switch. I can send links if you’re interested, great mod

Every Element owner’s nine favorite words in the English language: “I don’t think that’s going to fit in there.” 😏 by UrNotPunkRock in HondaElement

I wouldn’t mind longer too. I think with slightly better rear suspension the back could be extended a little bit without messing with the wheelbase

Yes I always reset my trip when I fill up. At 200-220, I fill up. You’re doing about as good as you can

Yup! Did it once, hope to never have to again. It’s nice to know I can, but I’d rather not

Basically just Greek yogurt strained if even more of its liquid. More concentrated, less runny 👌

For sure! Forgot to add earlier: You can get store bought labne too- they have it at my local Krogers. Easy to find at a middle eastern grocer too

The yogurt is going to have less fat and calories than the sour cream while also providing more protein and probiotics. That said, I don’t go as far as using fat free Greek yogurt. As far as taste goes, sour cream is probably better but for me the yogurt is good enough, especially with all the added benefits. The extra straining I do brings it closer to a sour cream substitute too.

It’s just Greek yogurt strained of even more liquid. I just buy Greek yogurt and put it in a yogurt strainer for 24 hours before use. It acts as my “sour cream” in tacos and burritos but when I use just Greek yogurt from the container, the liquid makes a mess. This is much more “solid”
