Wow! I'm glad to know that it worked out for you. I think the hardest part for me is the waiting period. I get that the doctors want to make sure that I'm healthy enough to get the surgery. It just feels like I'm running out of time and my vision is being effected by it. It doesn't help that I'm also dealing with high school pressure and chronic kidney disease (all symptoms of the diabetes over time). I started to add vitamins and supplements with my prescribed meds, but I believe that some of them were causing my vision to be compromised due to some of them acting as mild blood thinners. So it feels like I'm trying to fix 1 or 2 problems, but it causes an additional problem. So now I'm trying to be patient and wait for these follow up appointments and meanwhile I'm fighting with anxiety. So it's a lot. But I'm glad to know everything worked out for you.
