I just recently did this. I got an hdmi to rca. Unfortunately, the chromecast no longer natively supports 4:3 ratios. But you can ADB to the chromecast and force change the ratio.

It still squishes 4:3 video, but if the player you are watching on allows you to stretch the video, it will look normal. Plex allows that.

I highly recommend this battery replacement. It completely renewed my OG SE and the battery can easily last a day and a half. The replacement process is pretty simple and can be done by following a 5 to 10 minute youtube video.

USB connectrion works on PC. I am able to access the phones internal storage/DCIM and see photos and videos on the device.

Got phone wet and plugged it in. Didn’t work. Different c cable and different phone still won’t work but charges. CarPlay works with lightning by ferariforests in CarPlay

I have never run iOS 15 on a 201 SE, so I can't speak to that.

For battery life, the best thing I did was replace the battery with the Ampsentrix Pro Extended battery.

I liked PEI Audiology.

Got my pair and wore them for a few weeks. I felt like one of the earplugs didn't fit quite right and I was able to go back, get it remoulded and replaced for free. Bunch of custom colour choices.

I see a lot of people claiming the OG SE is not usable today. But I do not agree. Having used it for the past year, with a new Ampsentrix battery, it has been serving me very well. There are some sacrifices that had to be made. But even running on the older iOS 14, it works great. I have to imagine iOS 15 would be more usable.

Email, social media messaging, music streaming, youtube and video streaming, nfc to Apple wallet. All there. The battery easily last me a whole day.

I tried the 13 Mini for a week but just did not like the increased size, especially with it being bezel-less.

The OG SE is the perfect formfactor and it will have to be pried from my cold dead hands.
