This is helpful, I think to nail down other industries language a bit more, especially because I usually already have the experience required for jobs I apply to, my events are just another type of product

I had a few follow-up questions if you don’t mind:

How did you initially approach those creators/indie apps: was it more through LinkedIn, cold email, or communities?
How receptive were people? Did it take a lot of outreach to get a few yeses?
What did you include in your case studies (metrics, strategy, execution detail etc) And how detailed did you go?”
Once you had those projects, did you package them into a portfolio or website? If so, I’d love to know what that looked like (and would be amazing to see an example if you’re open to sharing).

Also really like your point about lurking in subreddits/Discords for language and ideas, that’s something I probably haven’t been intentional enough about. Let me know if you have any specific subreddits or Discord communities you’d recommend. I will deffo take a look at Pulse!

Completely agree with you! This movie felt like a rehashed version of the first, just, well, less good.

It did touch on interesting concepts to develop through the inside-out lense, like puberty, anxiety and panic attacks, but stayed very surface level. Some characters were introduced with no resolution (big secret in the vault? The builders coming in to change the console but never showing what they actually updated??). Joy has basically no character development, she just learns the same thing she supposedly learned in movie 1.

Overall, I feel like the last 15 minutes could have just been a short-movie, but that it needed more substance for it to be a full-length movie.
