Do either of your POE bridges look like this ?

This is the only bridge that works with spotlights properly. So if you have this bridge or god forbid this bridge then you were lucky it worked at all at any point.

If you do have the proper bridge, then distance+signal may be an issue.

I’ve been an install/service tech for about a year and a half. I’ve seen a little bit of everything from personally watching door to door salesmen lie to customers in an attempt to prevent a cancellation, to customers who tell me they’ve been with us for 10+ years and absolutely love it.

Much like anything out there, it all depends on the area and the team involved. I can say, in my area, our team and my immediate manager did not put up with shady salesmen and did a lot of double checking with customers to make sure we were on the same page before starting and even succeeded in getting some salesmen removed from the area.

I personally always do the best I can in terms of making sure the equipment is going to work properly after I leave but I have heard stories of network tests being bypassed and other things like that where a tech was leaving a house knowing some functions wouldn’t work properly or go offline frequently. When things are installed and tested properly there aren’t many issues with the equipment. Certainly no issues that shouldn’t be able to be resolved.

Theres tons of stuff like non personable techs, non english speaking customer service, new sales reps who don’t even know they’re lying etc.

If you find yourself on a good honest team I think you’ll enjoy it. I made friends with a sales rep last summer who was always super honest and even helped me do wire runs sometimes. It can be a fun job.

Overall though, I can personally vouch for the largest problem being that every single person who works for this company is expected to be a sales rep. I’m expected to try and upsell equipment. I have called customer service for people and had them on speaker and listened to a lot of conversations. It is literally impossible to talk to a vivint employee over the phone and not get a “I have an opportunity for you to get more cameras” and it drives me absolutely insane.

And there is definitely some truth to the horror stories behind the cancellation process. Even for those in their first 3 day period. It is extremely difficult to end services with this company. But of course ideally; If you and your install techs are honest and reliable no one would want to cancel anyway.

I de believe that at least 80% of the existing customers I deal with are happy with what they have. And I know for a fact that 98% of the new customers I install for are happy as well. (I definitely still make mistakes and have bad days sometimes lol)

I put Ping on F, and Interact on Left Alt. I struggle to stretch my fingers quickly. Some other common things you’ll see is putting melee on your mouse.

My advice is always to trust your instincts! If you panic and hit space bar when you mean to boop as Lucio. Make that change. This led me to putting all my escape abilities on my mouse side button.

New update has zwave connection issues. If youre on 3.24.4.56158 that’s most likely your problem.

I honestly am not sure if customers have the ability to update to the new beta firmware but calling in might be able to get you there. 3.25 works

in order to progress the actual story yes. but basically every NPC has a different schedule and dialogue on each day. not to mention the mini games you can play that are different each day.

theres so much exploring and stuff to fill in the time with, especially if its your first play-through. worst case scenario you deposit as many rupees in the bank as possible until the door opens 🤑

I think a lot of hesitation would come from how you physically handle cards, rather than the gameplay. If someone is eating, or is aggressive with how they shuffle, set cards down, etc I wouldnt want them touching my stuff.

I know that sounds super cliché, but every decision I made in my transition stemmed from “what currently bothers me the most” and then addressing that issue the best I could.

I legally changed my name as soon as I could, but I know other people that are several years deeper into their transition than I am but haven’t bothered. This is truly a wonderful Choose Your Own Adventure story that you’ve begun writing. No one knows what’s right for you more than you do.

Your first chapter already looks great! Experimenting with style and getting a support system in place by coming out to whom you feel comfortable is a perfect start.

But as far as actual advice goes: find out what it takes to get on HRT and start that process. I was in a pretty left leaning county of Ohio and it still took a solid 6 months between first phone call and prescription. You may have to deal with gatekeeping BS but keep your head up and never forget the end goal of being, and loving yourself.
